Our flight was cancelled during the day of our flight. Have no option but to leave you hanging. No alternative flights offer. Bought a new ticket of four…. Too much hassle…. We choose this airline as its low fare but it’s more than a business class we spend because we bought a new ticket because they cannot give us alternative flights. And we have to look hotel in the middle of the night as they did not give us much time to prepare…. Such a nightmare….. until now we are still waiting for our refund…. Scoot have mercy!!!!!

If I could give a minus 5 start rating I would. This company is the absolute worst airline, please for your own sake do not, I repeat, do not BOOK WITH SCOOT! Customer service is dreadful. They emailed us saying our FLIGHTS were cancelled, 3 weeks before we fly away. Then, could not refund our money before we put departure date for us to rebook new flights. Not only was this a big issue for us, the staff we spoke to (4 members) were completely and utterly rude. Did not tell us which flights were cancelled, so we assumed both departing and returning flights were cancelled, right? But no, they then proceed to tell us that only one flight had been cancelled, A WEEK AFTER we paid £1000+ more on new flights to our destination. Which then meant that, we would only then be able to receive a TAX refund on the flight that hadn’t been cancelled. If Scoots customer service, was more caring about they’re customers, and not more concerned about the amount of phone calls they’re meant to take per day for their ‘targets’, they would probably be a decent company, but they’re not even close to a decent company. I will never, recommend to anyone to use scoot, they’re the most misleading company I have ever done business with. And I can assure you, I will never in my life fly with Scoot. Please people, if you value your money and sanity, do not fly with this company as you will lose money. They’re very good at using scare tactics and belittling the customer. Probably the only thing they’ll ever be good at. Plus, trying to get in touch with this company is a complete waste of your time. They’ll take at least 2 hours to answer the phone, then will talk to you in an extremely rude manner and eventually hang up on you. Again, do not use this company as they will scam you.

We had a package at around £500 a year. We asked about monthly payments and were told it would be £1000 + VAT per MONTH! The dashboard has no analytics, so no way of really seeing easily how much traffic Scoot actually generates for your website. Looked into it in more detail. and discovered that the SEO and metatagging they do is very simple and already provided to us by our web host. Similarly, they duplicate information. All in all, not recommended

Scoot have published my personal phone number, also my home address and are saying that these are the contact methods in which clients can contact me by. They also have another website called The Sun which has my personal details on there. How the hell did they get my personal details, what gives them the right to publish my details without my consent. I have changed my number a number of times already and now i am going to have people phoning my private number. How dare you scoot, how dare you!

Signed up for listings management last week as they claimed they'd get me 100's of backlinks. I know a ton about SEO & already had well optimised pages on all of the big directories but was interested to see what they could do. What you get in reality is about 10 optimised directory pages (the news websites are syndicted to many other news websites but you only set it up using 1 link so i'm not counting that as hundreds of links like they do) I already had all of these directory listings with unique original content on each one. These guys just copied the text from my homepage & used that which risks you getting a duplicate content penalty & went ahead despite me asking what the logic was behind it. I want the changes they've made totally undoing & I've no idea why anyone would pay £25 a month for what is in reality about 10 backlinks which you could create in about an hour without paying anything.

Was with Scot/Web.com for years and years, they created links to the website though directories which was useful at the time, though an outdated method now. However the work they did after looking into it was way below standard, the information they had was outdated, numerous errors in spelling, the pictures they put were outdated and they generally did't put any effort in, did't update any information we sent to them over the years and have no customer service skills whatsoever. After saying i felt like i was wasting my money with them and wanted to cease business they then said that they would take down all the information/link/listings which they had set up over the years. Which is just petty to be honest. They then months later called and called trying to get us back on board and the price got lower and lower. I still said no as them pressuring me and being rude about it did't make me want to sign up again at all. DONT USE! They just take your money and do the bare minimum at best.

Just cancelled with these guys although the expense is not much, what you get back for this is not much at all you'd be better off investing in pretty much anything else and get more return. I've also discovered people are paying less and more than what I was paying which was £99 + VAT - clearly the pricing strategy is whatever the sales guy can getaway with. If you're considerring this simply ask yourself when was the last time you visited any of these directories to find something? What prompted me to write this review though was the text I received once I cancelled (I was hoping to upload a screenshot) saying that my business had been "deleted in google" which is a lie and in my view scare tactics. Scoot do not have the ability to delete my google listing as I am the owner of it (they would need to hack my google account to delete it) - I will be reporting this to Google, as well as my Google Adwords Account manager. Not a nice company to deal with and thrilled to have cut the chord

Would never use this company again, pushy, misled and so so much bad publicity leads you to believe it all must be based on truth. I renewed, then cancelled within 24hrs and asked for a full refund, only to be told what I had renewed was not what was discussed so basically get stuffed. I asked for a copy of the recording, they said not all calls are recorded. I have staff who heard the conversation, so I'd add liars to the list of their faults, totally unprofessional!

I have had a very poor experience with Scoot AKA web.com. They removed a local business listing of mine twice. I had spent a good deal of time setting up one of our business profiles. They even change your listing without your permission. They have a pushy sales team with an attitude. One person I spoke with was rude and continued to talk over me. I will be in contact with the other directories that they represent and get to the bottom of this unholy mess!! Avoid Avoid Avoid!!! Check Out their reviews all over the web, they all say the same thing. When scoot responds to their feedback they always apologise but I'm fairly confident that it would be a different story if you were on the other end of the phone to them.

Pushy sales tactics Our IT team looked into what they do for us for the money and appeared to be very little! They rang continuously for weeks still trying to persuade us to renew despite us trying to cancel. They tried to use scare tactics and told us that our website had now gone from the top on google to 9th place since cancelling however when we cleared the cashe on our internet and searched under several different search titles our website still appeared on the top.

Won't take no for an answer. I have explained to them that we are happy with our current online performance but still they call. Amazingly, every time they call, they have an exclusive deal on just that week to get us to sign up. Just go away.

I received a phone call today after i requested one from Mondays call. Being honest i looked up the reviews before answering which put me on the back foot. Although not rude the employee was pretty abrupt with a few umms are arrsss while questioning me on more than 1 occasion. It was obvious i wasnt interested but she persevered, fair enough. The she moved onto Google which i have been advertised on for a year now. I know all about SEO and meta tagging etc. I also know there is nothing the company can do for me that i cant do myself! This is still a form of cold calling regardless. Asking me to check my details online as a means to sell something i am not interested in. Im happy with the free listing so please note to no more sales contacts! Jason JMcC photography
