To say this order was disappointing doesn't cover it. We ordered 3 shoes for next day delivery on the 19th of July. I was happy to see the shoes were dispatched early morning 20th of July and were with the courier. The courier Hermes was saying it wasn't with them yet but I assumed it was just waiting on updating. By 2pm I got suspicious as it was still showing as not with the courier so I got into contact with Hermes who confirmed contrary to Schuh's email, that it was not with them. At 4pm, I managed to get hold of Schuh via twitter and they stated due to the extreme weather - the package had been delayed. I can completely understand why the package might be delayed but what I think is disappointing is that they told me it was with courier early morning when it was not. I could have gone to get the shoes (which I clearly needed urgently hence next day delivery) but by only informing me they misinformed me when I chased them up at 4pm it left me with little options. I asked them to cancel the order but they refused, saying it was dispatched. They told me to refuse the delivery. I had to run out late in the house and spend more than I was comfortable with due to them leaving me with little to no options. Then, the courier left the parcel outside my home when I wasn't in so I wasn't able to refuse it. I tried to take it to the post office but was informed that 2.50 would be deducted off each item (7.50 total) for my refund as I didn't have a Schuh account. I wrote to them again to resolve this as this did not feel fair considering it was their error and they offered to make it right and give me 15% discount for further inconveniencing me. I sent off the return and was disappointed for a third time when they only refunded me for two shoes out of three leaving me £40 short. Considering the mess they've already put me through I thought this was completely unacceptable. I am sure that they will promise to make it all right again but I am not holding my breath
Applauded for the delivery,I’ll give them that.came early the next day. But they tried to send ME…ME a pair of new balance trainers with no paper in the shoe box,no paper in one of the trainers, and a box that looked like it had travelled more around the world than my millionaire mate Rudy during covid (a lot,the rich bar-stood) with the corners stuck together with an enormous amount of cello tape because of its state. I couldn’t even wait to send them back via return label.jumped in the motor went to the store and returned them,then got a touch popping into offspring after and buying two pairs of air max 95 beetroots and a pair of Jordan 1 low unc’s. Thank you schuh,will never purchase a pair from you online again,but the female staff in the store i retuned to looked wonderful
I ordered Dr Martens sandals (£94.00) which arrived on the 14th July unfortunately they were half a size too big so I opted to return via Inpost. Seemingly Inpost have lost the item and we are now 15 days on and I still have not received a refund. I’ve emailed multiple times and keep being told it will be a couple of days while they investigate with the courier, it is a never ending saga and completely unacceptable to withhold a customer’s money in this way when they have returned the item in good faith via Schuh’s recommended returns route!

Great experience with ordering my shoes online with Schuh. I ordered a pair of trainers and when they arrived they were labelled the correct size but somehow were far too big, not Schuh’s fault just an issue with that manufacturer. I sent them back and asked for a replacement, the whole process was painless and my replacement trainers got to me in no time at all. The price was good and service was great too. Highly recommended. A lot of the negative reviews on here seem to be more about delivery by 3rd parties than they are about Schuh.
Visited the Meadowhall store for a pair of shoes I have wanted for a while. Staff were lovely, helpful and very friendly.

Terrible, Ordered a pair of shoes for daughters Birthday , a week in advance, I work away from home , the tracking showed attempted delivery a few days after the order, A few days later I contacted by live chat this company , and was refunded in full due to the fact i did not want to be waiting while they sorted out what ever they do, so we buy my girls shoes in town last week, I go back to work and i checked my emails today ,, i have received 3 emails from these ignorant rude people at schuh,, saying the tracking is showing as delivered on the same day that attempted delivery was made!!? I am absolutely fuming , as the last email which seems to be dated 2 days ago is demanding i return shoes we never received or pay again!? insane indeed, I am totally baffeled and never ever heard anything like this with any company, I should have read these reviews first , They are even stating they will send debt collectors round my house !?? I do not owe them any money and no idea why they think they can talk to people in this fashion.
Ordered some puma slides and the package came damaged and the shoes had a scuff on them luckily they sent me out a new pair straight away. The slides are very comfy
Absolutely disgusting policy. Customer service were nice but could do nothing. Ordered Birkenstock shoes for my 8 year old daughter. The 2 was too small so went online to do an exchange for the 3 but it was out of stock. However the same shoe in a 3 in the adult section was in stock and for nearly double the price. Same shoe!!! but they wouldn't do the exchange as the codes are adult codes. But it's the same shoe!!! Well they have just lost a loyal customer to this.
They decided to use Amazon of all people to deliver it who subsequently lost my parcel and didn’t bother telling me. Only found out when I phoned up Schuh after waiting day after day for this delivery in which they subsequently refunded me. Absolute rubbish company.
Went to the shop in the metro centre, Gateshead and was helped by Caitlin. She was so so helpful and even though they were busy, we still received exceptional service from her. She was more than helpful explaining Klarna and sizing and I left with an amazing pair of Steve Madden trainers. Would definitely recommend.
Ordered a pair of shoes which arrived and had obviously been worn with scuff marks all over. Tried to return to store and was told it was me who had worn them even though I had ordered an online replacement the same day. Shocking customer service and shocking quality control.
Disgusting service, ordered a £180 pair of boots and paid £5 for next day delivery. Received a manky old pair of used completely different boots (how does that even happen) Was assured they would send another pair on next day delivery and I would receive confirmation and tracking, still hadnt received anything the following day. When I contacted them I was told they would be delivered in a day or two. Requested my order to be cancelled so I could re-order from somewhere else but not able to as apparently they had just been dispatched, I will wait and see.
Disgusting way to treat customers. Ordered some trainers online, they arrived really scuffed. I had taken a picture and sent to customer service asking for some money back. They just sent another pair in the post without agreeing this with me and asked me to post the scuffed ones back. I explained that I had newborn twins and getting to the post office was difficult at the moment - hence ordering online and not in store. Next thing I know I’m getting letters from a debt collection agency for the cost of the trainers plus fees! AVOID. CORRUPT COMPANY
The shop in Derby intu always good yesterday I was served by a very helpful young girl didn’t get her name very pretty dark haired girl I bought a pair of Birkenstocks paid cash and card .. I presume manager was assisting her with payment her was very polite too .. this shop is the best as they always have size 8 in stock I always shop there.
