I purchased a Barolo Riserva and instead received a regular bottling. I originally posted a poor review as my initial attempts to resolve the matter went unanswered. However, once the business owner Joshua Hiebel became involved, the issue was investigated and quickly resolved. I can't say enough about Mr. Hiebel's commitment to customer satisfaction. Mistakes happen and can be easily forgiven when they are resolved quickly and amicably. I plan to do more business with Saratoga Wine.

Reliable wine merchant with extensive inventory and free shipping deals for orders with a value above a set limit. Downside is they require orders to be placed over the internet on their website. The security conscious may decide this is not worth the risk of getting their credit card and personal information intercepted in today's spyware ridden system.

Offered free shipping, upgraded to 2 day Fed-ex (order 103774), was charged for upgrade, wine came ground several days late, were hot days. Emailed and called on refund request, no response from Saratoga.

I was looking for a bottle of Pappy Van Winkle's ,10 year old bourbon. A friend suggested Saratoga Wine as place that carried a huge selection of quality wines and liquors. When I called I was pleasantly surprised to be told they had two bottles available. I placed an order for one, it was promptly shipped to me I believe it only took 3-4 days before it arrived, which was well ahead of the shipping time quoted.That was pretty good considering I'm on the West coast and they are on the East coast.I'm very happy with my experience with Saratoga Wine.com and highly recommend them. Awesome find in New York of a wine that should be readily available in Ohio, but the distributor is unorganized. Vintage of Heron Hill Riesling wasn't updated but I was made aware of this in a timely manner. Good experience, I would recommend this retailer to others.
