ResumeBuilder has always been my go-to. However, there was another company I tried as well this go-around. I went to cancel my subscription (I don’t need any resumes at this time) and accidentally went to the other site (very similar business name) and cancelled. I was still charged by ResumeBuilder and was very confused. Although it was totally my mistake, ResumeBuilder was extremely understanding and issued a refund immediately.

I signed up for the 14 day trial, without being sure if I would keep the account/plan. I did indeed create a resume I thought would suffice for my professional goals before the end of the 14 days. However, I forgot to cancel my subscription and was subsequently charged something in the area of ~$23.95. I cancelled right away and just accepted that I was too late. To my surprise, I received an email the very next day explaining to me that a refund for that exact same amount as I was charged would be refunded. They were able to take step back from a business standpoint and provide an honest response for an honest mistake, giving me my money back after being silly enough to forget. While this may seem small to rave about, I found it exceptionally understanding and “human” to respond in such a way. They weren’t just a business trying to get more coin, more like a friend that understood my mistake. This was around the time of late Nov/early Dec. You can imagine the stress of money around these times (holidays and such). If you live paycheck to paycheck, every dollar counts. Luckily, that 23.95 wasn’t something I was worried about anymore. Great business, and by this simple act along with my satisfaction with the product itself, I can tell their business model must be as solid as concrete. I love ResumeBuilder and hey I might actually go ahead and pay for it intentionally in the future! Definitely made it more of a possibility knowing they have such great customer service.
Resume builder’s great customer service identified my cancellation and recognized it as forgetting to cancel prior and refunded my subscription.

Tried to just make a simple resume with their 14 day purchase but there's a hidden $24 charge at the end of it with no way to unsubscribe to prevent it. the account page doesn't let you edit billing options, only upgrade to a more expensive one. It is absolutely not worth the money and hassle.
