There were a number of choices for what I needed. I wanted a matte black frame and took the chance on the "velvet" black frame. It came in perfect condition, and included the hanging hardware. The 30" x 40" size was heavy because it was REAL wood. It looks great; no flaws in the matte finish. I am a repeat customer, and will again use pictureframes.com.
My wife and I needed a canvas floater for a picture of our long departed fur baby. We found the perfect one on pictureframes.com. The order process was easy to navigate even though we needed a custom size. The frame came in a timely manner and was perfectly packaged. Never received.
The frame has jagged cuts at the 45 degree connection points that show the bare wood. The print isn’t centered and there is an uneven strip of white showing prominently on the left side.

Being able to upload an image of your artwork simplifies the selection process. Your software allows me to size the image and frame and shows me a representation of what the final product will look like including any mats added. Allows me to focus on the creativity of matting and framing. Checkout with the product is very simple.
My order was placed on hold due to missing hardware. No attempt was made to substitute, and no attempt was made to communicate the delay to me. After multiple calls, I eventually had to cancel and order a different frame.
Reasonable prices and good service
Terrible experience. After a 6 week delay in shipping the frame arrived in 20 pieces. I now can spend 1-2 hours putting it together. I am so mad. It is an 8 by 10 frame that requires 8 diagrams to assemble. Ridiculous. I would steer clear of this company.

It is not at all what I wanted. I wanted a frame . A picture frame to put needlework in behind glass. You are NOT a picture frame company. This was expensive and completely useless
The frame and mat are fine for the price paid. There was a half-inch scratch near the edge of the acrylic sheet, and the inner edge of the mat was a bit irregular and frayed. But from five feet away you don't see any of this. I will use them again.

THE WEBSITE IS EASIER TO USE. HOWEVER, I PUT FRAMES PACKAGES IN THE CART TO THINK ABOUT THEM MORE, AND WHEN I CAME BACK, THE SHOPPING CART WAS EMPTY SO I HAD TO START OVER....NOT GOOD. WHEN CHOOSING SINGLE OR DOUBLE MATT, THE COLOR NAMES DO NOT COME US UNLESS YOU CHOOSE IT WHICH MAKES IT DIFFICULT TO KNOW WHAT YOU ARE CHOOSING. ALSO, THERE IS NO BLACK CORE MATTS AND THERE IS NO OPTION FOR MATT GROVES WHICH MAKES THE PIECE LOOK MORE PROFESSIONAL RATHER THAN RUN OF THE MILL.
The ordering software is not intuitive like other sites. You are a "member" but still have to apply the current discount, which is odd. It should be applied automatically. The ability to drop ship is not available so now that I have dropped shipped a product to the individual you are referring to the Shippee instead of me as a "member". My guess if I make another purchase the system will want to ship to that individual instead of myself. This should be built into my profile and the system should ask if I want to ship to a different address.
Wasn't sure what to expect with ordering everything custom from this company, including a double mat, photo mat, and (plexi) glass along with the frame I had selected. However, it included everything I hoped it would include...even wire for hanging the frame after a fairly simple assembly. The sizing (for my custom print) was actually perfect, and couldn't be more pleased with the product as delivered. My only tiny nit-pick was that I ordered 2 frames at the same time and didn't understand why those weren't shipped together...but no big deal there. I have high expectations for the second custom frame that should arrive in another day or two.
