I would just like to compliment Lee Marsh on the way he delivered the course over the last two days. The training was excellent as was Lee's rapport with the group. He was friendly and fun and extremely knowledgeable. Two of the candidates and myself stayed on to complete the AED Instructor, Oxygen Management and Anaphylaxis Management. The course was fantastic. The trainer was enthusiastic, creative, engaging, knowledgeable and a great communicator. I found the course content interesting and although a lot to learn, due to the delivery, practical elements and being active the days just flew by. I would like to say that the materials provided were excellent as well and cannot thank the trainer enough for all his support. I feel confident to deliver FA and assess learners in a fair manner. I would recommend NUCO to anyone.

Enjoyable and informative First Aid for Mental Health Instructor course. Expected there to be more time spent discussing the different conditions, however we've been given plenty resources with good information on these to assist us.

The tutor was competent but calm and trusting. Lara was able to step back to let us (as experienced trainers) work through issues, feedback, stories and agreement with ample opportunity for practice and reflection. This meant we supported each other but she would hold the structure and occasionally step if we were going off course. I arrived unsure about how I would compare with such diverse people doing a similar job, but went away feeling reassured and part of a good support network. It was beneficial for my development as a trainer generally, as well for the specific topic.

This was a well delivered course, with much attention to detail shown by the Instructor, Brett Nelson. He ensured that all practical skills detailed in the FAW were practiced and assessed. The course was well managed and clear throughout, as to the aims of each lesson and we were in no doubt what was expected of us as students. Mr Nelson has an excellent delivery style and quickly established rapport with a disparate set of students from many backgrounds. I feel that I have learned a lot even though this was my second requalification and have walked away with many tips and delivery methods which I will certainly use in the future. Well worth attending.
