After researching online for approximately 3 months and contacting several solar and wind suppliers, I called Missouri Wind and Solar and spoke with Wyatt who was very helpful. After I explained my setup as to what I was trying to provide power to, he explained to me that he was their technician and not a salesman, but that he would be glad to help me. He was great to work with and we had communication back and forth for about a month so that we both knew what I was doing and the best way to accomplish it. I visited their facility to pick up my system and they went over the system with me and provided me with diagrams for the setup. I have had a few questions since I purchased the system and they have been very helpful.

Ordered the 100 amp solar battery charger. Looks solidly built, have not installed it yet. I just wished I'd known that they want you to hook up a fan for cooling. Would've been nice if they had made that an option during ordering. Still looks like a decent setup.

Received Sun Star 12-24v DC refrigerator/ freezer in great condition. Hooked it up to 4-270w PV and 2-24v battery banks and works great even with 3 day cloudy days still worked like a champ. Very pleased with purchase no complaints.

Their product seems to be very good. In part my installation is not optimal in order to actually evaluate the performance and marketing claims of output, so that's on me. However, my installation is at a summer cottage and I go to about 8 months of the year on weekends. Therefore my project is taking longer than expected as every time I find something missing, I need to order parts and continue the following weekend. The company (MS&Solar) knows this, and I even kept track of my progress with the sales man, but the company (customer service) refuses to work with me on bad/broken parts that I find, or charges exorbitant restocking fees on items where the sales man and I have come up with a better solution. It's also just not one time, but I purchased equipment in December, and then installed it in May only to find a bad part, and was told it's past 30 days, we cannot replace it. (My intent, do all the wiring (prep) at home over the winter to make it easier/quicker to install.... make sense to me, and they knew that, and refused to replace the bad part in May. In my way of thinking any electrical part that goes bad in 4-5 months for a wind turbine is bad (faulty) from the beginning whether is was installed or not; especially for a system where the turbine is warrantied as long as this is. I struggle between a 2 and 3 star rating, cause quality of product is most important, but I chose #2, cause when you have issues, and they don't work with you, it's just more frustrating.
