I recently purchased a twinhome and the bank had a promotion consisting of cash back or a Montgomery gift card. I chose the gift card as I wanted to purchase a couch. I went in to the store and was immediately greeted with a smile by Emily. I found the perfect couch for my new place. She suggested I purchase the warranty to protect my new couch which I did purchase. I did not have my gift card at this time because my closing is two weeks away. She was very accommodating and told me just to bring the card in and also to call to set up a delivery date. I took my Mother in the store yesterday to show her my couch and was also greeted with a smile. Thank you for a positive experience and wonderful customer service.

Very knowledgeable, helpful and personable salesperson. Ditto for the delivery men. I bought 6 dining room chairs which I am happy with. The one I use the most creaks a lot. I don't know if Montgomery's is willing to take a look at it or not. I'd try to grease the chair, but can't tell where the squeaks are coming from. Not sure what to do about that.
I wanted to buy flooring from Montgomery's in Madison because it is a local store. The exact same flooring was available from your competitors in Sioux Falls. Unfortunately, the part of your operation that manages installations ruined the experience. They were unresponsive on several occasions and I had to repeatedly call to get things done. The final straw, such as it was, came after the sale. When I purchased the flooring, I was offered terms that included putting half down. After installation, Marissa called me to collect the other half, which was no problem because it was all going on a credit card anyway. I mentioned that the installation had a small problem that needed to be fixed. She became quite insistent that I pay immediately, which I did with reservations. She promised that she would arrange an installer to come out and fix the problem. I should not have paid off the balance. The installer never came or called, as had been my previous experience. After nearly two weeks, I called Marissa. She did not return the call, and I later found out that she was off from work for some reason (your annoying voicemail system should be designed to handle this situation). I subsequently called and got hold of the flooring manager but, because the installing operation seems not responsive at all, no quick fix could be made and I must now wait until I return from a trip in July to have the repair made -- all of which has delayed the completion of a room renovation that I've been doing. I know that Marissa looks bad in this write-up and I want to dull the edge of that a bit. She is clearly at the bottom of the totem pole and has little authority or control over what happened. Stating it bluntly, your installation operation ruined your reputation in this case, and I'm willing to bet that many other customers have had similar problems, in that my case was quite routine and not requiring any particular expertise or procedures. I regret to say that you've lost me as a customer. And I further regret to say that, when I return from my trip, this problem must be resolved immediately or I will begin addressing it on Facebook.

The delivery team did an awesome job. They were on time and had great communication. The gals who work in the store made sure our items were ordered right away and we were pleased at how quickly we received them.
I would recommend Montgomery Furniture to anyone based on their excellent customer service, quality merchandise, and competitive prices.

Our new recliners are da bomb! So cushy and easy to get in and out. We paid a little more for these ManWah chairs but it seems like we got a lot more for our money. We have had some issues getting recliners but Montgomery's has been gracious and understanding. Customer care is top notch from sales to delivery. Thanks to the entire team at Montgomeries who have worked so hard to make us happy.
Sara did a great job taking care or us. She gave us time to look on our own but was close by to answer questions. Helped us pick fabrics. She is great with colors. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was because of the prices. I feel like Montgomerys prices are a little high. If it wasn't for Sara we would have probably bought somewhere else but the service at other stores in this town is terrible.
I had a problem with one of the pieces I bought, but Carmen and Jimmy reacted quickly to resolve the issue. I am very impressed with Montgomery's commitment to make things right. I choose the right company to help me furnish my new home.

I would highly recommend Montgomery's Furniture to anyone! Jamie was amazing! She greeted us with a smile and her energetic attitude! She asked what we are looking for and brought is to the area and she said ill let you look a bit and said if have questions ask her. She came back to check and was not following us around and constantly by us so we could look and talk and take our time and not feel pressured. She knows the furniture and the protection plan very Well! We went for living room furniture and got a dresser and dining set along with sectional! Oscar who calls for appts was very kind and could tell he was smiling when called! Can't wait to do business with them again
