The delivery time was outstanding. The quality of the umbrella and base is exceptional. The assembly is straight forward and easy. Excellent customer service in response time to questions. A pleasure to do business with Midtown Umbrellas which I done three times.
Not experts in e-commerce, like listing products in stock when they aren’t and slow to ship, but great quality products and responsive helpful customer service. More expensive than many brands, but good value. Have patience and contact customer service if needed.
I was really excited about my order from Midtown umbrellas because I had been searching for a specific forest green canopy for weeks. When I found that Midtown carried Terrylast Forest Green I was thrilled and ordered three 8' market tilt umbrellas and one cantilever umbrella. Fastforward weeks later and only my cantilever umbrella showed up. I followed up with customer service and was told oops forest green 8' is sold out but we can send you another color. How do you run out of stock for products that were already spoken for? The main reason why I purchased from Midtown was because of the color so that wont work! Hoping Midtown can either correct their mistake or I'll be requesting a refund for all products.
sent us a broken item, they offer no communication with customer support, the phone line is only for sales so you have to wait 3 to 4 business days to get any answers and the answers are never helpful, I am still waiting for a refund, also they make YOU pay for returning the bases so beware of the bases

The quality of the products is great! Well built, very high quality. The assembly instructions lacked some detail but not a huge deal. This would be a five star review except that customer service is a 2, at best. The order was not shipped "next day" as promised. After about 10 days of waiting with 3 contacts made to the website chat. Each time the shipping was promised the next day. Finally reached a person via phone who was actually great. The biggest item of our order arrived next day. The pergola we ordered arrived missing a few parts. We are still trying to remedy that issue. So far the phone support refused to help us in live time and then gave us a non existent support@ address. On to third try, again, and am trying the website contact form. That's when I decided to leave this review. Stay tuned....
Umbrellas look nice and love the swivel feature. I bought mainly because of the fabric guarantee and fiberglass tines. Time will tell how those hold up. What I’m not happy about is the pole seems to be flimsy at the crank/swivel section (midpoint). The top half wobbles almost like it could break in half whether it’s open or closed. When opening and closing I have to crank with one hand and hold the upper half of the pole with the other so it doesn’t wobble. I have a bunch of patio umbrellas that cost half the price where I can crank the umbrella up and down with one hand and have no upper pole movement. I purchased these because I thought the overall umbrella would be sturdier and superior to most others. Not feeling confident at this point.

I have had my Midtown umbrella for less than a week. After an exhaustive search online, I was most impressed with this company. I liked the available options and most importantly, the 10 year warranty. I felt the cost of the umbrella was competitive. The umbrella arrived promptly in a strong box. I am impressed with the smooth, quiet operation. I am also impressed with the substantial ribs verses the wire ones. I ordered their recommendation of the Terylast fabric. Time will tell if that was the right choice.
The base I ordered was delivered on time and I am very happy with the initial quality.

The Umbrella is great, no issues so far. The packaging was incomplete and I had to called customer service twice to ask them to ship the crank, tools for installation as those were missing. Wasted 5 days waiting. The missing tools arrived in another shipment and were still incomplete as missing 6mm alan wrench so had to get one from Home Depot to complete installation. No point waiting another week for re shipment.
Excellent, quality items! My husband and I are super impressed and really happy with our purchase. I love how there was a variety of umbrella colors to choose from -- it made our decision hard but really fun! Installation was very simple and it took us about 30 minutes total.
