Microvisor - removable mini hood extension for microwave over the range
It was easy to install. It captures most, if not all of the steam and smoke that would otherwise escape up from the front burners. Will give this a try to see if we can avoid having an external vent installed.
Easy to install and has a clean neat appearance. Works very well to exhaust from the front burners. Ends up being low and restricts view of rear burners. Can be easily slipped off at any time if need arises
It doesn’t work for us. The fact that it is not returnable after opened is a good reason not to buy it! I wish I had read that first, I would not have bought it. I also bought one as a gift and am trying to return it, but no response to my emails yet (it has been over a week).

I love the product and it was easy to install. It would have a much better look if the ends of the spacer and attachment pieces were closed

Works great in removing steam & heat from cook-top however limits view of back boilers containing food when cooking.
I made a good decision In purchasing the microvisor hood. The install was extremely easy and it works the way it was described. I was challenged using my front burners with steam affecting the bottom of my microwave…. This hood easily solved that problem.

the fit and finish is perfect. It functions as described. I had the builder install an external vent since most new 'above stove' microwave units do not have this feature (they recirculate and 'filter' the vapor). With this hood extension, the exhaust is the best I've ever experienced.

I was a little reluctant to purchase the Microvisor Hood due the high price. However I give it 5 stars for construction and aesthetics. It was easy to install and it appears to do a good job funneling the steam and smoke back toward the fan.
I thought shipping is free, but I got charged $ 13.00 for shipping on a $ 14.00 purchase.Will go back to shoplet.com
The hood is exactly as described. Excellent quality and easy installation. I just hate it! 😂🤣😂🤣😂 it blocks my view while cooking. I can’t tip food into the pots without pulling them out from under the extended hood. So I have opted to keep the screw that holds it in place out, that was I can slide the hood in and out with ease.
Excellent product, but slightly expensive($150.00) for been simple. $ 120.00 should be a fair price. Sincerely Manuel Canino.
We received a microvisor hood damaged in shipping and were sent a second hood very promptly and courteously. Wonderful customer service. We tested the smoke alarm problem with a pan of hot oil browning meat--a sure thing to set it off. We waited with baited breath for that horrible screeching sound, but nothing happened! We are so very pleased and look forward to cooking without anxiety! Thank you for such an effective and attractive product.
Easy installation works well
Well since being a disabled veteran and that I could not installed it my wife had did it herself and once she installed the vent with the LED light, WOW it did what it supposed to do as stated in the YouTube and now she installed it it is so easy for to remove it to clean it and to charge the LED light. We thank you so much.
