Made a large order online from this store, and almost all the items delivered were great and had no issues, except for their glutinous rice cake. Quickly noticed that the glutinous rice cake which is usually made and sold for Vietnamese lunar new year had a production date of nearly TWO years ago. Despite being "best before" April this year, glutinous rice does not freeze well for that long. My mother makes these every year, and we never let them freeze for longer than six months at best, as the taste and quality diminish quickly afterward. Selling a product that was packed and frozen two years ago is disturbing. Asked if they could provide a return label so that I could return it to them, but they were insistent on coming to their store in person. Given the time we are in and that I am unable to travel that far, it is highly inconsiderate.

Everything arrived pretty quickly on a fantastic and well protected box. Product was excellent, surely will order again in the near future. I recommend it.

Longdan has a great selection of Asian products including vegan which is fab. Items are packed well and come on time. 2 improvements I could suggest - 1) have a dim sum /yum cha section on your menu as it is not just dumplings you have when going to a restaurant! 2)use a courier that communicates when delivery has dispatched and been delivered. I left my frozen goods for 3 hours before realising it was my Longdan order!

I visited the Shoreditch branch with two card. Business card went through ok but when i tried to use my personal card , PDQ machine seems doesn't respond-staff at the till didn't saying anything also i could see that there no respond from the machine. When the staff tried to operate PDQ Machine again, a Filipino guy stepped in (I didn't ask him why my card is not working nor your staff asking him for help, actually cashier was doing good job)saying with very aggressive manner' your card is not working' almost yelling. There are many ways you can speak to customers. I don't expect five star luxury service from Longdan but his tone of voice and the way he talked to me was as if I tried to stealing or I made a very big mistake. If the card didn't work then I was going to pay with my business card or my phone where I had few other cards. (i paid my personal item with my phone) Talked to him straight away that's not the way he should speak to customer, respond i got from him was 'your card is not working so i'm telling you what's wrong with it' again almost yelling then walked off asked for manager then staff only said that filipino guy is the manager. Manager should look after the store and should solve it when a problem is raised but the manager is the one making problems in your store and when a customer complains he just walked off, this is the way your company operated ? I've never seen this kind of behaviour even in the market or small cornor shop

Except my morning glory did not survived due too being packed with ice packed. The leaves went all mashy and brown.

I was very disappointed as the shop sale whole box noodle (12 pack) just the same price as buy single pack which is not fair for the buyer. As all other shop always give discount for buying whole box but Longdan only give discount if you buy personal in the shop and not online, this is very strange and unfair for online customer. Online customer buying more as well as in Covid we reduce going out and keep safety for everyone in social why treat us different?
