My son and I enjoyed a Gelato making class with Chef Christina. It was a wonderful, very pleasant and private experience that I can recommend to anyone, children or adults. Not only the gelato making process was entertaining and educational, but we also felt welcomed and at ease! Thank you for showing us what the true Italian hospitality looks like.

Wonderful experience with Local Aromas on our trip to Rome. We did the walking food tour with Deborah and the 4 pastas tour with Eric the next day. Both persons were gracious, knowledable, and highly engaging. We learned much, ate much, and thoroughly enjoyed our tours.

The people are the best part! They are personable, fun, and willing to answer any and all questions. One of the best experiences that I will remember forever!

We had a wonderful Bubbles Tasting experience in Rome. Our local sommelier Eric was a super nice host and really knowledgeable. The service was very customer orientated from start to end. I can truly recommend Local Aromas for an unforgettable experience in Rome.

We had a great experience with our authentic Italian cooking class! We had a great chef guiding us and we learned a lot about Italian cooking. We were looking forward to learn to cook gnocchi as this has been a favourite to us! But no more store bought gnocchi after this experience!! We learned to make pasta, gnocchi and tiramisu, and had a wonderful dinner at the end!

Our chef, Benedetta, was pleasant and knowledgeable. She guided us through the basics of pasta, gnocchi, and tiramisu. We really enjoyed the experience, and the excellent meal at the end. A fun way of learning to cook, and the highlight of our vacation in Rome.

Booked a food tour for my family of four for our first day in Rome to introduce us to local foods and keep us awake post-travel. Eric’s tour through 3 neighborhoods surpassed our expectations. We learned so much about Rome’s history in addition to tasting different delicious uniquely Roman foods. My girls loved learning how to use the water fountains found throughout the city 😊. Local Aromas’ market tour and pasta making class were a highlight of our time in Rome! We met Margherita at the market. She was so fun, warm, and knowledgeable and fit in perfectly with our family of 4 (parents and two teenaged boys). After the market we went to chef Cristina’s lovely home where we made tiramisu, fresh bruschetta, and homemade pasta. Cristina’s pasta sauces were fantastic!! We ate on a beautiful outdoor patio. The food was the best we had in Rome. But, more important, Margherita and Cristina were the most hospitable and lovely companions and hosts. This is truly a unique and memorable experience! Book Local Aromas if you are looking for an authentic, unforgettable Roman food adventure. My boys are still talking about it and can’t wait to try making (the best) tiramisu on their own!

I must tell you our experience was beyond INCREDIBLE!!! The owners have been wonderful and accommodating. Great people skills. Top notch ingredients in the very best environment. Our cooking and meal was all very authentic and so much fun to make all the yummy things we ate. They provide you with the recipes and links to all their other recipes, wine suggestions and events including online cooking classes. I could go on forever. BOOK THIS!!!

It was an enjoyable and relaxing experience creating wonderful Italian culinary and delicious primo and un dolce in our Local Aromas cooking class amidst a working vineyard in the outer hills of Rome along the Appian Way.

I have now taken the Local Aromas cooking class twice and the experience gets better every time I go! The atmosphere of the locations they chose are so charming and welcoming. The cooking experience is very inclusive and involves multiple courses, making different types of pastas, cocktails/wine, a dessert, and of course EATING EVERYTHING. I feel as if Eric, Cristina, and Valerie are my dear friends now. We have so much fun laughing while we make the dishes- they are very patient with me as I struggle through what comes so naturally to them. I was thankful to have a guide that spoke very good English because my Italian needs work, but that was no problem for them. If I had one critique, it would be to have stayed longer and had more laughs with this crew. So much fun- highly recommend and will be back again!

I contacted Local Aromas about doing an olive oil tasting and some food for our wedding anniversary while in Rome. They had no classes available (it was a Monday) so the owner Benny worked with me through zoom and email to set up something private just for us! And it was absolutely amazing! We did an olive oil tasting at one of her chefs houses under her olive tree and then a 4 course meal complete with homemade limoncello and tiramisu (best one we’ve had hands down and we’ve had a lot of tiramisu). Benny and Christina were absolutely delightful and friendly. Benny even made us dinner reservations for another evening! Would absolutely recommend them!

Loving my experience! I absolutely love my subscription to Local Aromas. Authentic Italian recipes, insightful, yet easy to follow. I love that they are written in Italian, yet there is an English translation if I feel stuck. And so much rich material to get through. I feel like I am never too far from Italy thanks to Local Aromas.

We had an amazing street food tour with Benny. The food was delicious, it was fun to walk around different neighborhoods, and Benny was extremely knowledgeable about Roman food culture and history. Our whole family (2 kids ages 11 and 13, my husband, and I) loved it and learned a lot. I highly recommend this tour. We did this tour at the end of our trip, and my only regret is that we didn’t do it earlier during our stay in Rome!

I am enjoying the experience of Local Aromas! The people involved are informative and fun! I’ve already learned so much and look forward to our zoom meetings! Makes me feel like I’m in Italy!!

BRAVA !! We are back from Rome 🇻🇦and already miss Benny and " our" Local Aromas family ! We had done their food tours and tastings 😋on previous trips and we couldn't come to Italy without trying the Four Roman Pastas tour , which was extraordinary! If anyone can make eating pasta 🍝 a super 🤓informative and FUN 😁😆🥳experience Benny can! Benny and everyone in the Local Aromas family made us feel safe 😷COVID wise and made sure we all felt comfortable with their precautions. Benny is so warm, fun and knowledgeable and our Four Roman Pastas tastings and experience was such a blast we wanted more ( we kinda begged ) and they were able to graciously accommodate us for a second experience two days later 👏🏻 ! We choose a wine 🍷 tasting, which Benny gives magnificently. Someone in our group prides themselves on being an Italian wine 🧐expert, but with Benny as our guide he admitted he learned a few things in addition to adding a few more delicious 🍾wines to our favorites list. Benny 😊🥰😂is so down to earth, warm, fun and very knowledgeable 🤩 in many areas. 🥰 Thank you for another 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻extraordinary Local Aromas experience ! We will surely add a day or two ( at least ) in Rome for our next Italy 🇮🇹 trip.
