This was on the of the absolute highlights of our 2 week trip to Italy. Our tour guide, Francesco, was incredible! He was so knowledgeable about Rome and all of the sites that we visited. He weaved in the past with how the sites are currently used. We were able to see EVERYTHING before others even thought about waking up. With how busy Rome gets, this was invaluable and allowed us to use our 2 days in Rome more wisely. Would encourage anyone to take advantage of this sunrise tour opportunity!

We booked an evening wine and food tour with local aromas as we had previously booked with them and had a fantastic experience. It was the first visit to Rome for our two friends travelling with us and we thought it would be a perfect introduction for them. We thoroughly enjoyed our few hours with our guide Eric who was so knowledgeable We learnt lots about local food and wine, visiting places we would not have found ourselves. Walking the city at night learning about some of the history of the area was fascinating. Local aroma tours are a must do when visiting Rome.

Booking with Local Aromas is a must while visiting Italy. The food tour Benny put together allowed us to taste the local cuisine and learn how to distinguish which establishments are frequented by locals versus tourists. We tasted some of the best food we ever ate and would have never known about if it was not for her. Our second evening consisted of an olive oil tasting (a must if you love to cook!) and an authentic Roman meal made by local chef Crisitina. All of our food was amazing, the information learned invaluable and most importantly, the company my husband and I shared (both evenings) is already one of our best shared memories. Benny is one of the most friendly and welcoming people my husband and I have ever met. She is the perfect person to be around if you are excited and open to learning about culture, having human experiences and wanting to stimulate your senses and creativity. I hope my future travels involve crossing paths with Local Aromas again! Thank you again for everything Benny!

This was great! Not all olive oil is created equal. Extra Virgin refers to a process. The difference is the olives, knowing the difference and tasting techniques made all the difference. Pairing the right olive oil with the right food was eye opening. We will remember this forever.

The olive oil tasting was an enlightening and enjoyable experience. I learned so much! The Chef prepared dinner was fabulous and delicious. Everything was prepared perfectly and the Chef was incredibly gracious. I’d highly recommend Local Aromas as they are tremendous hosts and wonderful people. For our 1st trip to Italy- we utilized Social media to learn about what we should/shouldn’t do on our trip. We came across Local Aromas and every contact we saw- we appreciated and were curious. We reached out and booked a Rome street food tour and it was beyond our expectations! Could I have ordered pizza or pasta- yes but I might have missed where the locals would visit. To learn about those individual businesses and engagement from the tour lead- made the time fly as it was so enjoyable.

Our Roman Street Food Tour with Valerie this afternoon was not only delicious, but fun and informative. It’s clear that Valerie has a passion about Rome, its history and culture, as well as its cuisine. We enjoyed suppli, Roman pizza, gelato and more and enjoyed walking through some of the more off the beaten path streets. This tour was the perfect way to end our time in Rome, but we’ll definitely be back!

We booked the Sunrise Rome Tour and were not sure what to expect. Let me tell you, we had the best time. Francesco picked us up and was ready and waiting at our hotel. He was super informative, really fun to talk to, but above all so so passionate. We spent the next few hours seeing the sights and taking photos and hearing some really wonderful stories and information We saw all the highlights and even some areas we had no idea about. Towards the end of the tour I didn’t want to leave, I could have spent hours more with Francesco. Not only did I leave with some incredible photos and amazing memories, but as we bid farewell, I felt like I was saying goodbye to a friend. Thank you for making our time in Rome all thst much more special!

My granddaughter and I had a wonderful time doing the food tour. She is still raving about how much she enjoyed everything she tried, and I have to agree with her. Deborah, our guide, was so welcoming and willing to share many tips for our next week. This was a perfect beginning to our week here in Rome.

We were a group of 5 - the youngest a 16-year-old through to her grandfather and three more in between - and we all had such an amazing food and wine experience with Christina and Benny! We visited Rome during the first week in November and were so glad that we were able to squeeze in a cooking course with wine pairing at Local Aromas. As they helped us to create an amazing meal together, we enjoyed each course either out on Christina's porch or inside around her table, each one with some wonderful wine. We were so excited about the evening that over Christmas, we re-created the evening - this time sharing it with more of our family in the UK. My family and I booked this experience while in Rome. We had many issues with other companies but not Local Aromas! They not only were very communicative but they were so amazing and left us walking away with so many memories and experiences! I will be bringing my wife the nice time I am there!
