My farmer's market tour with Benny and cooking class with Cristina were absolutely incredible! Benny and Cristina were both so warm, friendly, and knowledgeable. I'd recommend Local Aromas to anyone travelling to Italy and would not hesitate to sign up for another experience with them should we be lucky enough to return.

My husband and I took the Farmer's Market tour. We had an amazing time meeting vendors and tasting amazing local foods. Benny is super knowledgeable about all the processes that go into making the different local flavors, it was an amazing learning experience. Everyone was so friendly, cheeses amd meats better than we ever had. Came bags with 3 bags full of local items, most already vacuum sealed, and did not spend much at all. My husband even got tips about his protein intact from a biologist at the legume stand. I highly recommend this tour with this lady!! If we could give more stars, we would.

We had a wonderful experience with Jamila. She was knowledgeable and friendly and took her time explaining the different pastas and customs. It was delicious by the way! We never felt rushed and just had a great time. I would recommend Local Aromas to everyone. I will be back and look forward to booking another food tour with Local Aromas!

I’m so thankful to God for putting Local Aromas in my path! I took a mother and daughter trip to Rome and did the Local Aromas private cooking class at the chef’s home and it was everything and more than I imagined! The home was beautiful with olive trees, and the chef was so kind and knowledgeable! An unforgettable experience!

My husband and I took a cooking class and learned to make the 4 Roman pastas, as well as Tiramisu. Chef Carla was wonderful, and immediately made us feel welcome in her home. She gave us an overview of everything we would be doing, and explained it all step by step and we prepared our amazing meal. The only complaint might be that we were stuffed by the end! And that's not actually a complaint at all. Oh my gosh, the four Roman pastas are simple, yet delicious. The tiramisu was so much easier to make that I could have imagined, and yet it was just heavenly. Chef Carla was absolutely delightful. She was knowledgeable about her craft, as I would expect. She was approachable and friendly. We loved chatting with her, she has a great sense of humor. The class was worth every penny and I would 100% recommend the class. If we ever get back to Italy, we will definitely be taking more cooking classes with Local Aromas.

WOW!! We had an amazing experience with Local Aromas, which included 3 private cooking experiences, a farmers market tour, and an aperitivo experience in Rome. Each experience exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed learning a lot about food, culture, and life in Italy. The conversations with chef Carla and our guide Benny were amazing. Especially the storytelling and laughter!! I still can’t decide who is funnier, Carla or Benny!! They both made me laugh a lot!! It felt like hanging out with friends and family. And the food and wine at every experience was amazing, too!! We also brought home lots of tasty souvenirs from the farmers market. Lucky for me, I'm back in Italy in 7 months, and already signed up for the Cheese and Wine Tasting experience with Local Aromas. I can't wait!!

We did a Roman Street Food Tour with Benny P. and she was incredible! We learned so much, ate great food, and had wonderful conversation. She was able to accommodate vegetarian needs and gave us so many wonderful tips. We wholeheartedly recommend Benny for any tour you may want to do. Goonies never say die!

Found Local Aromas on tik tok and fell in love with the sisters. Booked the 20 min consultation - was super helpful. My husband and I spent 12 days and 5 in Rome. Did the usual tour of Vatican and golf cart but non compared to Local Aromas. Booked 3 private tour with them! And each one was great. They were so helpful in meeting our needs (day, time, dietary issues), and great with communication and setting up tour. Totally worth the money. 1st did olive oil tasting and private home cooked dinner. Got to explore at different part of Rome. Benny was so warm and welcoming. Learned so much about olive oils and are forever changed. Never buy in plastic. Worth spending the money on good oil. Plus learning the different spice levels. Was very impressed. Clara cooked a simple but perfectly delicious meal. Getting to sit in someone’s dinning room enjoying a home cooked meal over wine, felt so warm and amazing. Felt like was at friends apt for dinner. This was the best part of our two weeks in Italy. 2nd did street food tour with focus around the Jewish ghetto and non dairy. Guide was warm and friendly. She knew so much and really provided a deep understanding of the history and melding of food with the times. Was great way to have private tour as it really was perfectly customized. More than enough food. Did it mid late afternoon. Instead of dinner we went back to a few of the shops our guide showed us along the way and picked up a few bites. Plus a stop at local grocery store we ended up having a picnic in bed after a long day walking Rome. 3rd was the aperitivo tour. Great way to experience the chill and fun daily activity. Was wonderful have a guide that was easy to talk to and understand local culture. Perfect evening to explore the local spots and feel like was out with a girlfriend. The mix of different pairings was nice to really understand what spirits and small bites like best. Can’t recommend this company more. Worth every penny.

Florence with Fadi! Our Aperativo tour with Fadi was great. I loved learning more about the city, Italy, and everything in between! Fadi was engaging and interesting-and certainly provided an authentic experience. The walking tour was a highlight of our trip, highly recommended.

A wonderful evening! This wasn't a typical tour, the level of comfort and rapport we felt with Jamila was akin to meeting up with a good friend living in a foreign country. Gracious, genuinly nice and full of knowledge.

Our cooking class with Chef Carla was the highlight of our trip to Rome. To be invited to Carla’s home and treated like family, it felt like we were with a long time friend. We loved learning how to make tiramisu and fresh pasta and can’t wait to go back home and practice our skills. Thank you Chef Carla, we loved getting to know more about you and life in Rome. Highly recommend this experience to others, well worth the money for a private class . ‘Capitano Giovanni’ loved it too. ☺️ Grazie!

The farmer’s market tour with tastings was beyond amazing! My mom and I were traveling from CA, USA and wanted an experience that felt more authentic to the everyday Italian life. This was definitely it. Our tour guide, Jamila, was personable, passionate, and fun and curated a great tour and tasting for us. We tried cheese, olive oil, honey, garlic sprouts, bread, and homemade Nutella (spoiler is that everything was delicious). We met a lot of great farmers who were so welcoming and excited to show us their crops. We left with a lot of souvenirs for home which were airplane proofed for us. I would recommend this tour and company to anyone looking to spend a day eating great food and making new Italian friends! Thank you, again, Jamila!

BEST EXPERIENCE in Rome for sure! Such a nice complement to the more tourist activities, to have a more grounded and authentic Roman experience. Debora was amazing, could not have wished for a better person to spend 3 hours eating food and walking around with. Thank you for the memories!

This was a more than a general food tour. Allessandra is an extremely knowledgeable guide and wonderful companion. We enjoyed learning about historic landmarks along the way to each eatery, seeing the hidden gem establishments of Rome that you won’t find in guidebooks, and receiving helpful advice on traveling in Italy. The food venues were well curated with high quality offerings and we did not leave hungry. Gracie mille for a memorable experience!

We had the most amazing time on a private food tour in Rome with Benny! It felt like we were hanging out with a friend and just learning about the history of the city while having the most delicious food. She made sure to truly spoil us and showed us the best spots! Even accommodated our stops based on what we had already tried on our own while in Rome. My Fiance, mom and I absolutely loved it and cannot wait to come back so we can do a different tour with her 💖

4 Pasta Tasting Experience with Valeria I booked the pasta experience for my family of 6 with Valeria and we were so happy with dinner experience. We enjoyed the meal and conversation with Valeria. She talked with all of us and gave us very interesting tidbits about Italy experiences, local foods to try, and recommendations of places see. We really appreciated the experience with Valeria and her knowledge of the Italian customs and culture. She really made us feel like friends having dinner not tourists. It was a fun night and the food was fantasitc. We recommend Local Aromas to anyone wanting to immerse themselves into the Italian culture.

Our driver was very knowledgeable and we enjoyed our Sunrise Tour. The one thing that was not clear to me, is that alot of the sites is literally a drive by in relative darkness. The Pantheon we did not see at all, drove by the Colosseum but did not see much. The Trevi fountain was closed for renovations, bit al least we could get close to it. The experience did not come cheap and I feel like we will have to go back again to do the Pantheon and the Colosseum. St Peter's Square was also not on our list. The "Roman Breakfast" was a rushed cup of coffee whilst standing up (it costs more if you sit) with a croissant at 6 am.

We had a wonderful time on the Market & Street Food tour with Deborah. The food was delicious, she was knowledgeable about the context and history, and the tour overall took the guesswork out of “which place is truly good, which place is mostly for tourists?”

Being from the United States, it was so much fun to experience the cuisine native to Italy. (Rome in particular) Meggy did an excellent job of explaining the history behind the 4 pastas, the "why we do this" for each of the courses we experienced, and included much information about the regions of Rome and why certain foods are connected to those areas. Meggy was the most genuine, pleasant, person to share all of this information with us. Her knowledge made our experience very enjoyable!
