My nanny walked out after 5 months and didn’t work any of her notice when I told her how disappointed I was that she was going to leave us at the start of the summer holidays rather than the end of it (ie working 9 months instead of the minimum one year I had stipulated during the hiring process). It was a very difficult time for our family as we were also dealing with a family bereavement and cancer diagnosis at the same time. KiwiOz nannies did nothing to resolve the issue or help us find a temp to cover while we looked for someone else. They offered us 30% off finding us a new nanny - £1.5k instead of 2.2k - never again. I’ve never had any problems with employees in 10 years and have only had positive feedback from previous nannies/cleaners, I was shocked at how poorly we were treated. I have since found a brilliant and much better nanny on gumtree, i will never use KiwiOz again, the nannies are too transient and the staff more interested in maximising their finders fees than helping their clients find the right nanny.

Have lots of candidates on their books but of variable quality. Not very pro active in finding candidates especially replacement candidates. Very disappointed when candidates was clearly not very good. Short on ensuring that that candidate was taught key skills and clearly placed her again without detailing failed job in the candidates cv . The clients ie the employers looking and paying for nannies are short changed.
Advertisement not posted as requested. Requested no CV’s with vegan/ vegetarian on due to the nature of our household and about 30 percent of CV received had one of the two. Did not feel they actually listened to the needs but sent loads of CV’s as just wanted to place people. Compared to other agencies it felt much more business first and get the agency fee than trying to get a correct fit for nanny and agency.
Nice in person but made a bad match between nanny and our family which showed the agency either they didn’t understand sufficiently us as a family; or they didn’t know the candidate; or both.
I was told by a friend who is currently working through KiwiOz NannyCo and as a keen traveller who currently works with children, I tried to apply, as I applied a lady named Natasha said I was perfect for the role, with plenty of experience and the company would look for positions suitable for me, she was very kind. However I received an email afterwards from another lady named Lauren saying I cannot apply as I don't have enough experience. I emailed back saying I was extremely upset as I was told I had plenty of experience and now it's sad to hear the complete opposite and "I will not apply through your Company again". I received no email back from Lauren at all, not even consideration, alternatives or regards to my experience... I was really disappointed with this response from Lauren, I was extremely excited and willing to travel through this Company and felt as though I got tossed aside. I did not appreciate that type of acknowledgement/none at all. This was a few months/almost a year ago! but I haven't forgotten it since and sadly will not be applying through this company again.
