For being someone with not a tonne of nanny experience prior, they provide great suppport and are always there when you need them. It would have been better if there was a clear process to go through when having interviews with families. For example a certain number of interviews per stage that you’re in. Therefore making it clear whether the family is interested in you or not. Also clear communication on whether a family was no longer interested would be better too. Rather than being left wondering & unsure if you should whether to keep trying with them. Communication between the agency and nanny was mostly pretty good, however there were issues regarding whether a family were still considering you as a nanny or if they’d instead moved on.

The whole experience with KiwiOz nannies so far has been seamless, great communication, clear instructions on what is needed from me, and helpful tips & tricks about the transition from NZ to London.

I have found the girls in office to be amazing! They’ve always followed up with any question if had as soon as they could and are fantastic at communicating. They’ve been really understanding when I was extremely indecisive about jobs. They were all extremely welcoming at the nanny drinks which was awesome as well and great to be put faces to name!

As a nanny this is the best agency out there. The live in team are amazing and found me my amazing job very quickly. They keep in contact after you have the job to help smooth out any issues and have great meet ups so you can meet other nannies. I recommend them to anyone and everyone and so does my boss.

My initial experience with KiwiOz Nannies was positive - the joining process was friendly and they helped me get job interviews. However, it all went horribly wrong once I actually started working. I ended up in a terrible live-in placement with a dysfunctional, disrespectful and abusive family. I contacted KiwiOz Nannies to inform them what I was experiencing and ask for advice - I was told that there was an adjustment period with new placements and that I should wait it out, which I did. Two months in, one of the children hit me hard in the face with a box - the mother (who was present) did nothing except chastise me for telling her son that he could not hit me. I immediately contacted the agency informing them what happened with visual proof as well as testimonies from previous nannies (that had worked for the same family) citing similar experiences. KiwiOz Nannies did nothing, I am not even certain they believed me. My employment was terminated shortly afterwards, during which time things got steadily more unpleasant within the work environment to the point that I was concerned for my health if I worked out the notice period. I was made to feel by both the parents and KiwiOz Nannies that I was unreasonable and unprofessional for putting my health and safety first - basically that I was behaving badly, that I was to blame. This experience not only put me off nannying as a profession but also put me off agencies. I cannot believe that a so-called reputable nanny agency would keep such people on their register and encourage people to work in unsafe working environments. Entering an unknown person's home as a live-in nanny is a risky endevour, which is why many nannies rely on agencies to screen potential families. An agency is supposed to help both the employer and the job-seeker - as a job-seeker I found KiwiOz Nannies seriously lacking.

KiwiOz Nanny Agency has been a pleasure to deal with. I have been using them for finding temp nannies and have not been disappointed. They have selected perfect candidates for us every time and were very open to feedback. They actually took the feedback on board for the following bookings.
