The person who did the Gin tasting was extremely kind and very thoughtful. She explained everything very well and with many details. She was very attentive to our children who had a very good time too.

Excellent gin tasting experience from an informative and friendly guide through the wonderful gins of Kinrara

Six of us and two dogs visited this lovely distillery in the most spectacular setting overlooking The Cairngorms today for the gin tasting experience. We thoroughly enjoyed the tasting with Caroline who was very patient with us after we could not find our booking details and fit us in. The gins are some of the best we have tasted and we have tasted a few!! The bottle artwork is so unique. We have purchased 5 bottles between the six of us. Would highly recommend a visit.

We did the tour and it was a great experience, learning about the history of the distillery but also how to mix it. And they accept kids ! Definitely recommend the tour and their gin as well (we bought 2 bottles).

Lovely gin. Outstanding hosting. Extremely welcoming to our children, who had a great time, which we really felt was above and beyond as this activity is clearly not aimed at children.

We booked our Gin Tasting Experience the night before our visit to the small, family-owned distillery. The online booking process was very straightforward and the tickets were great value. As the designated drivers, my friend and I were offered a choice of tea, coffee or soft drink, with a shortbread biscuit during the tasting experience - as well as a sample bottle of the gin of our choice and a small bottle of Fevertree tonic of our choosing to take home at the end of the visit. The tasters tried a total of 5 different gins with a selection of tonics to pair with the gins. Caroline, who led our tasting, gave us lots of information about the gin distilling process and all about the different botanical in each of the Kinrara gins. Caroline made us very welcome and had a great sense of humour. There is a shop which sells a range of Kinrara products - there was no pressure whatsoever to purchase gin after the tasting experience- but with gins as good as these we took the opportunity to stock up. The views from the Kinrara Distillery are stunning too.

Had a great time tasting at this beautiful distillery. It feels warm and welcoming as soon as you walk in. Trish was great, from explaining the process that goes in to making the gins to knowing what mixers we would like before even tasting. Great experience, lovely staff would recommend. Thank you.

The reception is perfect! The person who makes the taste is passionate. The gins are all excellent. Positive point: the driver is not forgotten, he cannot taste, but a reseda is offered at the end of the session

Great experience at Kinrara Distillery. Authentic and friendly people. The tasting was spicked with jokes, facts and a lot of fun. Every Gin we tasted has its own flavor und you can Taste every botanical in it. You do Not need any tonic. If you have holiday in Aviemore then you need to plan a visit at Kinrara Distillery. Fantastic.

Thé Kinrara Scottish Highland Dry Gin is my favourite. Delivery great.

Caroline spent an hour with us during our tasting and we sampled several Kinrara gins. She was friendly, open, and guided the tasting with knowledge and flexibility. She helped us learn how to better understand and enjoy gin. Wonderful experience!

Really excellent visit! This tiny gin distillery near Aviemore is 100% worth your time. The gin tastes amazing of course, but added to that they show you how a small startup looks, what the first few years of a distillery can look like, and more! Plus, this local gin is truly unique, not only the taste, but the art! The bottles are crafted with some really amazing art that brings in the flavors of the gin adding to the whole experience. Could not say enough things, just stop agonizing over reviews and go out and book a visit (or at least go buy some gin)!

Trisha was just so nice and inventing, she took the time to explain everything to us and more, and made sure everyone was cared for and had a great experience. I couldn't drink since I was driving but she made sure to include me as well, and I got a little treat at the end ;) a place really full of heart, would definitely come back !

Would highly recommend a visit and gin tasting. Staff were knowledgeable and very passionate about their products. Had a great time and even as a designated driver, was included in the experience by being able to savour the aromas of the ingredients and final products then getting our own miniature to take away
