Well worth the small amount of cash to get the car checked compared with how much it may cost you in the long run if the car is a bad one, also nice to have peace of mind knowing you aren't going to get "ripped off"

My boyfriend + I were in desperate need of another car so again we used EBay. We've both realised this is no good for buying cars on as everybody seems to always want something for nothing! So many sellers seem to be selling cars which wouldn't even get looked at on a forecourt! Thank goodness for HPI Check as yet again we would've been stung and lost thousands of pounds! Everybody should use this check as not only do you get the information you're looking for but so much more plus you've weeks to follow up so it's well worth the money! It cost me £15.99 but saved me hundreds and having an HPI check behind you, there is no hassle in cancelling any order you've agreed to on EBay! Thank goodness we did this check BEFORE we went to pick the car up, anyone thinking of buying a car must HPI it which can save themselves so much money + maybe this will eventually stop these 'chancers' who are trying to diddle you out of your hard earned money. Wish we'd realised years ago what a good thing it is to be 'in the know'! Absolutely brilliant, thank you.

The actual check was great as always, more data points than anyone else, clearly the best option and they have the best guarantee of all the providers I looked at. Also, their service was great on the phone. They called me back when they said they would, they did what they said they would, they just generally exceeded my expectations of a call centre operation. Good work guys.

As I haven't dealt with this dealer before I needed some info on the car to set my mind as ease. This service has done this very much. I would recommend spending the money where ever you buy from could just save you a fortune. Look at it this way better to be safe ..........

A very reassuring way of checking vehicles and well worth the money, there's a lot of other sites I wouldn't trust, always go for one that's well established like HPI.

Just did a HPI check, it is pretty good and efficient. However it doesn't tell you before hand that you need Chassis Number & V5 serial number & document issue date for a complete check.

HPI check gives you an additional peace of mind.

Easy to use and very thorough. More expensive than several others that appear on internet searches but the amount of info and ease of use make it worth it in my opinion.

wouldnt trust any other hpi

I was about to go through with a purchase and decided to run a search on HPIcheck. My seller had told me that it was HPI clear, but the report showed as a Cat D. I immediately called it off. Many thanks HPI Check!

I was buying a motorcycle off of Ebay as a private sale. Didn't flag up on any other free Hpi checks but turns out the bike's finance hasn't been paid since 2013.. thank god for HPI Check. Saved me a lot of grief and problems with the law. £14.99 well spent!

I checked 6 competitively priced cars, not ridiculously cheap, private buyers. None were listed as Cat C/D or disclosed in correspondence/phone calls with sellers. 5 out of the 6 were Cat C or D. It's great value to avoid an expensive mistake
