I had an excellent experience with Houseplans.com! The website was easy to navigate, and I found a wide variety of designs that fit my needs perfectly. Ordering was simple, and I received my plans quickly. For the price, I received eight copies of the detailed floor plans, which included all the schematics my builder needs. Everything was smooth from start to finish, and I highly recommend Houseplans.com to anyone looking for high-quality house plans!

Be careful buying plans from this company. After spending $1400 for my plans, I discovered the drawings contained no interior wall plans! None. I plan to build the home myself, I am not a carpenter but I have experience. Now I have to design the interior walls, including most importantly, the two gable walls which are about 23 ft high. No specs were given on the beams to be used for flooring and roof; instead, the plans call for a local structural engineer to design. I called the company and was told that is due to varying criteria based on locale. So, if you want to spend this amount of Non-Refundable money, then be prepared for no interior drawings and that all engineered beams and joists need to be locally reviewed.

Professional and courteous, I am a home builder in Western Pennsylvania in an already stressful business, it was refreshing to speak to somebody who actually cared about what they were doing and how they were able to assist you. Thank you.

This is my second experience with houseplants.com - what a great company to find!! There are a huge number of plans of every kind that are inexpensive and complete. And if you need to “tweak” a design - say, for a difficult city zoning situation! - they are incredibly helpful, accurate, quick, responsive, and professional. Both of my plans required several iterations and the folks at houseplants.com (shout out to you, Jason Shirk!) worked with me to get it right and at a reasonable cost for my tight timelines. Having dealt with “in-person” architects in the past, I will never go back! We are starting a small business to begin building homes in our area, and I look forward to many years of collaboration with houseplants.com!

I have not received the Plans that were advertised and Paid for. After Four calls the company admitted it was their fault for the misrepresentation, Promises were made to correct the discrepancies but they have not been corrected at this time. So disappointment.

Everything was very easy and fast. So nice to deal with someone that responded so promptly. I will definitely be referring my customers to this company.
