Fantastic customer service! My lid cracked on my Almost Everything Cream so I sent an email on the off chance there could be any spare packaging as my product was fairly new and didn’t want it to waste. Charis replied and sent me out a brand new cream. The service was quick, easy and super helpful! I am thoroughly impressed! Love this brand!!
Great salon. Fantastic service. Big shout out to Alexis who was absolutely amazing! She did an incredible job. She knew exactly what to do, was very focused. My hair never looked more beautiful. It gave me so much confidence and truly made my day. I cannot thank her enough ❤️❤️❤️ 10 out of 5 stars 😘❤️
I would like people to be very careful when using this hairdryer. It is so hot, even on the lowest heat setting, it over-heated my hair causing it to break off short all round my head. My hairdresser told me to stop using it.
Brilliant product! Bought small pot as trial and decided to splurge and buy the large size. Whoever designed this is probably a part time wrestler! Poor, poor design. Please redesign as I would like to use but am really put off on my daily struggle.
I ordered the large size of the Almost Everything cream at considerable cost. From the outset, the product - which is in a pump - is incredibly hard to dispense. Simply, the cream is too thick for a pump nozzle - and really should be in a tub, like the smallest version. I queried with Customer Service who advised to keep at room temp (?) and then remove the end of pump tp push the product up!!! Just change the packaging for what is a great product. I want to know Ive used every bit at the price of £60.
I've been a customer for 16 years and still every experience is special, from the warm welcome, to the most amazing hair wash in a spa, latest products, and of course the massage. My hairdresser Ryan sets the mark for professionalism and skill, he is totally dedicated and genuinely cares as do all the team here. You will leave looking fabulous and most importantly feeling it.
Ignoring emails to return wavemaker I want to return the Wavemaker for a refund but ignoring all my emails and Instagram message. So I have a wavemaker which I don’t find works on my hair and no way of returning it. Not happy
I’m always in search of someone who can do a great bob. So, so glad I have found the holy grail with Jessie J at the Belgravia salon. She was not only a brilliant stylist but super nice. I’ll definitely be back to see her.
Natasha is an excellent hair stylist and Maxine equally excellent colour technician To compliment a cut . Love going in the salon it’s a great experience , lovely ladies excellent service .
Not only is the wave maker absolutely useless at making waves their customer service is second to none to being rude and inept. They just simply stop responding. Avoid
Disappointed as all sizes have gone down and prices have gone massively up. Who needs a glass jar ?? Terrible for travelling as well. I love the product but getting to the point that I don’t want to buy it anymore . It’s a shame! Not a way to keep customers loyal.
A shame that the customer service/website are useless, as I love the Almost Everything Cream - I have been trying to set up a subscription for ages, first they just told me it was 'not working' which I could see for myself, but they didn't have an answer as to when it would be fixed and eventually stopped replying, and now even though the subscription option seems to be fixed, the website is telling me 'shipping is not available' to my address... I live in North London Please sort it out, I would prefer to subscribe especially now as the size of the 50ml bottle has been reduced to 30ml but stayed the same price - if I can at least get the subscription price that would be great!
I have been trying to cancel the product subscription for ages but somehow never heard back from their support team (emailed them). I called the store and eventually someone was able to help - I was told all subscriptions had been cancelled but recently got charged again for the subscription. Reached out again and haven’t heard back….
The new packaging for your Almost Everything cream has reduced the product from 50ml to 30ml but the price has also gone up...? Is this right?
I received my Wand but find it impossible to use without risk of burning my hands. I tried to contact the company to return it but they have not answered me and are unwilling to enter into dialogue. Total absence of customer service.
Booked to have my hair coloured with Alexe in the Fitzrovia branch for a hefty price as he was voted one of the UK’s best in blonde and I’d previously flown in from Italy to see him and he did a wonderful job. I booked the appointment on 25 May at 17:35. The appointment was for 27 May at 16:30. Left my credit card details as they have a policy that if you cancel they take the money for the appointment. I felt confident that they wouldn’t just charge my card as I’d been through this process before and had no issues. On Monday 27 May I receive some Instagram messages from Alexe saying the reception is trying g to get hold of me. I immediately called them to which they tell me my appointment will need to be cancelled as I needed a patch test before. I was sure mine was still valid but human error I guess it had been more than 6 months since my last appointment. I explained that once again I am only in town for a few days and if I came straight in when would I be able to have my hair done. They told me after a full 48 hours. This wouldn’t work as I would have already left London by this time. The lady on the phone apologised and said unfortunately they couldn’t help me in that case. I was super disappointment as I’d been longing to have my hair done. Never in a million years did I expect to get an email on 3 June with an invoice to say they have debited my card for £404!!!! I obviously think this must be a mistake and call the branch who are completely unhelpful and tell its policy to take the funds for cancelled appointments. I explain I never cancelled, you did. Doesn’t matter they are of no help I just get an email address for “Tara” who deals with this and conveniently doesn’t have a contact number. I email her and call every day to try get a resolution and eventually today 7 June she replies saying: “ Hi Daisy, Thank you for your email. Looking at the booking log your patch test could have taken place on the 25th in order to ensure your appointment on the 27th could go ahead. Unfortunately, as per our t’s & c’s which were sent to you in our confirmation email and ticked while booking online if the appointment does not go ahead a cancellation charge will be applicable. Please accept my apologies for any inconvenience caused. Kind regards, Tara“ Please explain how I would have been able to go in after 17:30 on the 25th and had 48 hours to do my patch test??? I am sorry but this is just an excuse to take my money without delivering a service. This company clearly doesn’t care about its customers and I would be very careful if you’re thinking of dealing with them because this patch test now just sounds like an excuse to take money. Also if I didn’t have 48 hours to do the test shouldn’t their system have not allowed me to make the booking in the first place???
Beware of buying a subscription to their products... I decided the product did not suit my hair, it was too heavy for my fine hair. I contacted Hershesons to cancel the subscription as you can't do this online in your account and was informed that in agreeing to the subscription i was tied in for 3 separate deliveries and could only cancel once these had been purchased and received. This is Not clearly communicated when taking out the subscription... Beware, try first then subscribe
I booked an appointment at Hershesons based on the fantastic haircut my friend received. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory, leaving me questioning the salon's reputation. I have long, curly, and thick hair, and I explicitly communicated to the hairdresser that I wanted a low-maintenance haircut suitable for my natural curls. Despite showing pictures and emphasising my desire for something easy to maintain, I ended up with the exact opposite. The haircut I received is proving to be high maintenance, difficult to style, and has caused my hair to lose its natural curl and texture. The stylist used a razor to cut my hair, which, in hindsight, seems to have been a poor choice for my hair type. While the initial styling at the salon left me pleased, the real disappointment came the next day and after washing my hair. The razor cut, coupled with the thickness of my hair, resulted in unruly frizz and a completely different texture than what I'm accustomed to. Wearing my hair down is now a rarity, as the haircut demands constant styling to look presentable. This has significantly impacted my self-confidence, especially given the professional setting I work in. I feel that as a paying customer, the stylist should have provided better guidance, advising me on a haircut that would suit my hair type and lifestyle. My experience at Hershesons has left me extremely upset and after spending £175 on just a cut I expected more than to be left in the hands of someone that doesn't understand what is asked of them. I expected more from a salon with such a reputed name, and unfortunately, my hair now requires more attention and effort than ever before.
I am so unimpressed with my haircut at Hershesons Fitzrovia. I recently had it cut with one objective - give me a cut that will enhance my natural curls, because with having a 9 week old baby, I wouldn't have time to style it so I wanted something easy to look after but would make the most of my natural waves. Whilst my stylist was very polite and nice, the haircut he gave me was probably the worse haircut I have had. He's shortened it to a length which looks like it's in the middle of growing out and he's chopped into it so much that it looks awful when left naturally to dry. Honestly every time I see the cut in the mirror, I want to cry, it's made me look awful. Worse of all it cost me £120 which I was happy to pay to get a good haircut but this is genuinely a total waste of money. And unbelievably they make you pay for your coffee. I'll never go back there for a haircut and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
I was given the Hershesons hair dryer, Almost Everything Cream and round brush for Christmas from my partner. I'm not sure whether it's the fabulous fast and lightweight dryer, the Almost Everything Cream, the round brush or a combination of all three but the result is fantastic! My hair is fine (but I have a lot of it) and slightly wavy. Usually it looks ok immediately after drying but within half hour it goes "fluffy" and the following day the waves start kicking in and it can look quite frizzy. Now I have the smoothest glossy blow dry I've ever been able to achieve myself and the smoothness lasts for 3 days. Also, I had a shoulder replacement 11 years ago. For the first time in 11 years I'm able to blow dry my own hair without my shoulder aching for the rest of the day and that's thanks to my new Hershesons dryer. This is a genuine review. I can't praise the products highly enough. It may seem expensive but it's absolutely worth the money.
