I had an excellent experience with Habito Mortgages, and I can't recommend them highly enough! From start to finish, the process was seamless, and I felt fully supported every step of the way. A special mention to our mortgage advisor, Antra Ektermane. She was incredibly knowledgeable, patient with our endless questions and suggested great mortgage products tailored to our needs. We did face an initial setback with a property undervaluation from the first lender, but Antra kept us motivated and encouraged us not to get discouraged. She immediately suggested a new lender and did thorough research to make sure they didn't use the same chartered surveyors, which was such a thoughtful and proactive approach. Antra also ensured the lenders we applied to were well-researched and mindful of the impact of hard credit searches. Once the application was ready, the application team took over, and I have to give a special shout-out to Megan. She was fantastic at keeping us updated at every stage of the process, providing regular follow-ups with the lender, and ensuring that any questions or concerns from the lender were quickly addressed. Even when Megan was due to be off for her annual leave, she ensured her colleague Christine was available to handle any questions and prevent any delays which reflects their commitment to customer service! We arranged our mortgage through Habito and also used the Habito Plus conveyancing service on our sale and purchase. The mortgage application service is excellent, and you are able to upload all your ID, proof of income documents, etc online without licking a stamp. The only hard-copy document we had to deal with was the mortgage deed. The advisors were excellent and very responsive - special mentions go to Dan and Pietro who were our main points of contact. I don't think it matters what conveyancers you use, it is going to be painful, and you are always at the mercy of your chain. But I'm glad I went with the Habito Plus service, as their was a clear link between the mortgage side and legal side of things. Jigna and Abbie got us over the line despite some tricky moments when things looked quite shaky elsewhere in the chain. Huge thanks. I would happily recommend Habito to all homebuyers or those remortgaging.

Habito have been super efficient with processing my mortgage. Lots of agents helped me, but notably Richard O'Reilly who was sending me all the information I could possibly need, when I was throwing a lot of information at him. I have previously used another similar competitor for my mortgage, but this time around I went with Habito purely based on the experience I received. Very clear information provided and each step explained well. It helps that not all agents work 9-5 so can help with any out of hours queries!

We needed a quick mortgage application and found habito's on-line services to be perfectly geared towards getting things moving. We were offered a 3 week wait to get an appointment with a bricks and mortar mortgage broker, but habito were able to assist right away. Always responsive, and able to offer competitive products. Olivia handled my mortgage enquiry and she was absolutely fantastic. She gave me a lot of options, explained things clearly, was so knowledgeable and very quick communication. I'll be recommending Habito to anyone looking for a mortgage as there were options that I didn't even know existed. Different banks ask different questions when submitting an AIP so it was good to be able to provide as much information and context as possible to Habito to let them submit the application with all the information. Fingers crossed it gets accepted!
