I don't usually write reviews but honestly Habito was a complete game changer and made buying my first property as easy as I think it could have been I'd like to personally thank Jinga, Abbie, Ellen and the Habito team they were absolutely amazing through the entire process, able to answer any question no matter how big or trivial it seemed - They regularly replied on the same day if not the next day and ensured I understood everything that I was going on I opted for Habito Plus, this service is amazing, you have your own web dashboard so you can track all the processes and how far along things are getting, making it easy to know where you are in the buying process They handled every aspect of the process, from mortgage applications to property searches, with the utmost professionalism and thoroughness and diligence and even more than what I could have asked from them If you're unsure about Habito I would just recommend talking to the team, I never once felt pushed or rushed into anything and they are always so lovely in their responses There was only 1 video call in the entire process for identity checks other than that everything else was done online, via email, web chat, phone call's - perfect if you have a busy life style or can't find the time for "normal" 9-5 business, or don't like phone calls and setting up meetings
Struggled to get any quotes from the major banks to re-mortgage my buy to let property as just retired and only had rental income coming in. Have owned the property for 34 years and not yet looking to draw on my private pension and most banks wanted a steady income. Found out about Habito and they were able to source me an excellent rate and even once I had signed up to it, rates had dropped again prior to completion so was able to change to lower deal. Existing provider's 5 year remortgage rate was 1.2% higher than Habito secured. Habito kept me updated and frequently checked the market until my mortgage settled.

Got a good mortgage offer very quickly, just over a week from filling out the online form to receiving an offer from the bank. Must quicker than other brokers I've used. All gone online, no long phone calls. The online chat is a bit clunky, and it's easier to reply by email instead - but this is a minor point.

I came across Habito by chance as my remortgage was approaching. I thought I’d give them a try as trying to speak to the banks directly can be hard work. I popped in my details and got a response swiftly from Kris Dixey. From there the communication was excellent. Prompt responses at all times of the day. He was a great help. Although I didn’t get what I was looking for, that was on me. We agreed on the remortgage with my current provider as it just made sense on this occasion. This company really do value your business and have been always there right though this process which I personally had issues with due to personal circumstances this took months and yet Emily was always available via chat and email responding very quickly to my queries and questions. So far, I've had a great experience using Habito. Their online platform is modern and easy to use, and as a first-time buyer, the process can be daunting with so many things to research. I like that it's a whole-of-market broker that is free of charge. They do offer Habito Plus for conveyancing etc. but you don't have to use it. Thanks to Habito, especially to Emily T and Chisom, for their guidance and for helping me secure a mortgage offer in a friendly and professional manner.
