A young lady rang me to advise me that my monthly direct debit would have to increase as a year had passed since we went over to Go To Energy. She was very pleasant and saved me the headache of going onto Compare The Market myself.

Brilliant. I tried to swap to Octopus, simply because of a solar battery, but couldn’t help. AND phone calls were dire! Staying with Go To. Clear, prompt, excellent accessible info. Just get a solar payback facility.
I phoned this morning to ask about a new terrify and was answered by a very polite young lady, she was very helpful with her explanations and advise so I have decided to stay with Goto energy for another 12 months, as after going on compare sites thy seem one of the cheapest for my requirements.
Easy to contact and efficient on line service
My tariff is due for renewal and it was a great shock to find a 40% increase, however I cannot find better. When I contacted GOTOENERGY I was given a different and higher new tariff to the renewal quote. I also learned that the smart meter VI I have is now being read by them but had been told it was not compatible. After all this confusion I found the customer service agent to be very helpful and clear in explaining the actual situation and offer. This was all confirmed immediately by email. Reluctantly accepting the increase I have stayed with them for another year.

If I could rate as no stars, I would. I had to send final readings into this company on behalf of my brother who has had a severe stroke and is in a nursing home. Readings sent on 3rd July , account over £1400 in credit but they will not refund in total for up to 6 weeks. Final bill incorrect and complaints department don’t phone when they say they will. Don’t swap to this dreadful company.

Great customer service - my renewal was good price (i did use a comparison site and it worked well) and the process was really simple. I have had a really good experience with this company - I've experienced some interesting service from some of the other suppliers, so it was good to actually get good customer service. They have a great app which makes it easy to do meter readings, they communicate well (you can actually understand what the bill means) and when I needed to call them, they answered very quickly and resolved my enquiry quickly.
The automated message service is not working- after selecting Option 3, I was repeatedly prompted to then select 0 which simply restarts the message.

I was considering changing supplier,but was able to stay with my current supplier on a deal better than on I was offered on a comparison site.The new contract starts at the end of my existing contract. I was able to discuss my current credit and future direct debit's Thank you.

A very good company to deal with unlike other energy companies. I have been with them for a year now and just renewed on line.
End of first year prompted to renew or move (Unlike some suppliers!) checked with various comparison site and GOTO are competitive .Staff helpful and prepared to negotiate on Monthly payments especially as they like others have significantly increased prices for 2021.Willstay another year
