It is over twelve weeks since I submitted our claim. ( a missed connection owing to our flight arriving late in Dubai). In support of our claim we have submitted 27 emails with over 30 plus pieces of evidence...copies of tickets, itinerary, letters from the airline apologising for the inconvenience etc. In addition, we have telephoned their office on several occasions. Each time it was the same mantra "we have a lot of claims to process and yours will be dealt with in due course" On each occasion when documentation was provided this company in response have asked for more documents/clarification. Globelink Travel Insurance tardiness and obfuscation should be an embarrassment to them. We will not be seeking to utilise their service again.
Simple and easy to use site
Simple to renew
Very bad service. They outsourse their insurance to other companies like HWA insurance. They never get back to you after you make a claim. They just say they are working on it. It's been over 3 months since I made a claim and nothing. Not even an email. I have to keep on emailing them, and they come back with the same rubbish. It's not because it's cheap, you should use this company because if you really need them they will not help you. I will never use them again. There are much better ones out there which I have used before. You pay extra and wish you will never need to use them, but when you need them, they will help. Global link is not worth it better. You pay extra. All the 5 stars here are just about buying the insurance policy. How easy it was to buy, but nobody has anything good to say about making a claim.
I can't download the policy certificate- "Server Error" each time. Two days later - I have now succeeded.
We have been travelling for over 40 years and have never made a claim. This year whilst on holiday my husband lost a 30 year old wedding ring. We put in a claim, not for money but for a like for like replacement for sentimental reasons. This was refused because we were told we should have taken precautions against any losses. I don't even understand what that means and this ambiguous statement covers practically everything on the policy so BUYERS BEWARE insuring with this company is a complete waste of time as so much is hidden on small print and not covered. Avoid at all costs we will never insure with them again. Their response below says the ring was unattended, it was on my husbands finger so how on earth can that be "unattended" I think the response just about sums up credibility.
Consigliato
A claim for a cancelled trip at short notice took four months to settle. Out of a claim for around £750 I received £212. Will not use them again
I submitted a claim nearly 4 months ago and still have no idea what is going on. Really poor service.
I cannot express enough how utterly disappointed and frustrated I am with the abysmal support provided by Globelink and their agent, Healthwatch, regarding our delayed baggage claim. Our experience with them has been nothing short of a nightmare. First and foremost, the communication from both Globelink and Healthwatch was shockingly poor. Despite numerous attempts to reach out to them for updates on our claim, we were met with repeated requests for documentation we had already provided or generic responses that offered no real information or assistance. It felt like we were being intentionally ignored. Furthermore, despite providing all the requested documentation promptly, we received no support whatsoever in resolving our claim. It's incredibly disheartening to see a lack of empathy and urgency from companies that are supposed to assist customers in times of need. Overall, our experience with Globelink and Healthwatch has been nothing short of a disaster. I would strongly advise anyone considering their services to look elsewhere. The complete disregard for customer service and the lack of support provided is simply unacceptable.
My son didnt have his flight yet back home and then they dont pay anything! I think this is in the very small letters....
I have just extended the cover, easy to do and instant confirmation.
Again an easy on line process. A lot more straightforward than others.
The Insurance was easy to arrange on line and at a fair price.
I have just booked a worldwide one trip comprehensive insurance for the over 80s to attend a family reunion in the USA. The webside was user-friendly and efficient, with all details easy to understand. It can be difficult for a senior to get generous travel insurance, so I was grateful to find Globelink, and good cover at a reasonable price.
Excellent service. Website easy to figure, which makes life easy. Payment increased this year, but guess just the way of the world. But with excellent cover worth it.
Efficient and comprehensive dealing with renewal of travel insurance.
Very helpful staff and all ok. Thank yiu
With reference to the reply about their company.I advised that HWA falsified documents. As for one review who advised Mrs ?? at Globelink was helpful. This is the person who slammed the phone down on me.Advised that the medical form was incorrect with Collinsons name on. That it was the TEC dept had made a mistake. Twice she advised that IT WAS NOTHING TO DO WITH GLOBELINK. The Person who helped was Melissa at Collinsons Collinsons advised that HWA were totally in the wrong how they had treated us. HWA advised that the letter from the Doctor dated 29 September was not an emergency appointment. It was the date of the letter, HWA twice wrote that my husband had chronic diabetes with leg ulcers. which he had not. In fact the doctor in the letters advised that he had had the last three weeks 3 times weekly clinic appointments and that he should carry on for a further 3 weeks. That is what I meant by falsifying documents. Also the woman Elena kept advising I had not sent the recovery form. I in turn advised I had not recieved it, After weeks of this. She replied she had forgotten to send it? Also everything was downloaded and photocopied and sent by courier to Greece. I had a signature to say it had been delivered. They kept advising it had not. Eventually they advised they had received it. The CEO answered a few emails only and wished me all the best with the claim. I also asked him why had it gone to Greece, and why was it taking so long? Never received a reply. Their response to my first review is purely a cover up from Globelink for their lack of help. HWA for their dishonesty. But Collinsons were very helpful and after 4 months advised HWA to return our money which they did, not correctly at first- I take the remark by Alex that it was slander is totally incorrect. Why then did he repeatedly advise he hoped I was succesful with my claim. THis is from the CEO of Globelink. So I would ask why are they not able to help as the Mrs??? repeatedly told me. If they want dispute my review they can contact me as I have kept all their emails. GLOBELINK, THE MRS. THE CEO ALEX, HWA ELENA, THE TWO FALSIFIED LETTERS. EMAILS FROM ELENA WHICH WE CONSIDER THREATENING. All are kept, Including the lovely helpful ones from Melissa at Collinsons.
Returning customer to Globelink. Great customer service and simple easy buying process.
