I order from Fresh Foods Express, whom I think of as my friends in Scotland, whenever I can, to have the pleasure of first class, ethically sourced food. Deliveries are reliable, and to have a call saying my fish delivery would be delayed because the boats had not been out that day underlined the personal nature of the service and the freshness of the fish!

I placed my first order not knowing what it would be like and WOW I was very impressed. The items were delivered within the time slot provided, they were all very well packaged. The fridge items were very cold wrapped in their insulation. The fresh fruit and veg were brilliant and tasted superb. Will definitely be back for more. Thank You.

It was all so simple. Once I'd ordered, as there was a slight delay on the venison, I received a phone call from the customer services asking whether I wanted 2 deliveries or just the one a few days later when everything was ready to go out together. I delayed delivery for ease and received my package, amazingly well insulated with cold packs and sheeps wool around it, keeping it wonderfully fresh. So far we have eaten the sausages, venison and black pudding, all absolutely delicious, with the venison salamis still to go. I would highly recommend this company as suppliers of good quality, well sourced foods. I will definitely be back for more!

I can't find anything to complain about! The service was really excellent and the food was absolutely delicious, especially the Lamb Shanks which were far and away the best we have ever tasted. Let's hope the sea has calmed down so we can savour the dressed crabs soon.

I have now ordered two lots of meat, and the service, packaging and delivery dates have been perfect.. The meat us to die for and we gave enjoyed everything, with a couple of items still in the freezer

The fresh fruit and veg were good, the steaks were beautiful. The afternoon tea hamper was great for my mother on law. I will be ordering more soon.

I really can't fault Fresh Food Express, they have sourced top quality Scottish produce from far and wide into one great online shopping experience, many of the lines are not available in your local supermarket meaning you're missing out. As much as I like trotting down to the monthly Farmer's Market to buy local produce and support our smaller businesses you really couldn't get the range of foods available online at Fresh Food Express or when you need it. The produce is carefully packed in recyclable material and any refrigerated goods I ordered have arrived still chilled. No more hassle disposing of polystyrene boxes. I would recommend Fresh Food Express to anyone. P.S. If you like fish then you have to try the Smoked Mackerel and Arbroath Smokies they are to die for, the supermarket lines fall way short of the mark in comparison.

Couldn't have chosen better pieces of fish or more delicious homemade goods if I had tried. Parcel arrived promptly and was beautifully packed ensuring freshness. I am an ex pat Scot and memories of crumbly oatcakes and delicious jams came tumbling back. This is a first rate company who obviously care about providing quality food to its customers. I will definitely be ordering again and again.

Excellent service, I placed my order on line and after submitting decided I wanted to add an item. Phoned asked if it was possible? no problem. The food received was really nice if a little expensive (just add the time spent/cost of getting shopping at your local shops) and knock it off the price. The highland cattle steak was the best I've tasted, the salmon was moist. I just hope the service and quality stay the same as they get more popular as they undoubtedly will.

First, packaging was excellent, often a let down with internet orders. Second the food was simply excellent. We value locally sourced fresh food. Look forward to our next delivery

Ordered various types of haggis for Burns night, the quality of the food was excellent; packaging included ice bags to keep it fresh, was secure and delivered overnight. Cannot praise the company or the quality of its produce enough and will certainly buy from them again . However the choice of delivery company may be somewhat ill advised; they left the box on the doorstep, leaving neither a delivery notice nor attempting to check we were in. It was when we looked on line that we discovered it had been delivered.

Christmas presents of Highland Beef Rib Roasts delivered countrywide with no fuss and bang on time! Numerous turkeys breathed sighs of relief.
