Customer service was good. The time to get my heat fixed was long. Having to find my own contractor was a pain. The original contractor you guys hired didn't install my unit properly, which resulted in super high power bills, and they left part of my equipment in a pile in my attic. Then they refused to come and service the unit they installed incorrectly. I feel I should be reimbursed for the power bill money due to the neglect of there horrible install.

Operationally Focused company that lacks appreciation for their customer. Zero sense of urgency to actually fix an issue their approved vendor created. Way too focused on reports instead of doing the correct thing. Sent their vendor in to fix the rollers on the dryer. Prior to roller replacement the dryer actually worked. After roller replacement the dryer wont turn on. Vendor refuses to return call. First America insists on waiting for a report from the vendor before moving to next step. Not sure what a report is going to complete at this time. 4 business days have passed since first contact and no closer to getting anyone out to fix the issue. Highly recommend to avoid this company. The case managers might as well be robots. Cannot go off script. Common sense is no where to be found. I thought the whole purpose of a warranty company was to avoid these issues. At this point seriously considering bringing in a 3rd party vendor and paying out of pocket. Will definitely be quicker.

The issue was with my heating it was 14 degrees out. You could not get anyone out as you could not get a hold of Seats and said I should start looking for someone. I couldn’t get approval to do this but on Monday magically Sears was answering their phone. However the appointment wasn’t for days. This is not 24/7 service or fast at all. The solution was to give me up to $50 to get a space heater for a 3400sq ft house. When the tech came out he tested my heat pump said it was working fine and the refrigerant levels were fine. He still put some in and said that was the issue. I asked him you said the levels were fine but then you put some in and said that was the issue. He never looked at anything else to include anything in the house his words “my gages tell me all I need” I asked him if the level was fine then what did he do to fix the issue. He said he fixed it with more refrigerant. The day he came out it was 50 degrees I have a gun that tells me the temp of air coming out of the vents it was 94 degrees before and after he arrived he did nothing it has not been in the teens since he came out. But even he said at that temperature it is the unit in the house that does the work. He nevered looked at it . When I submitted my receipt for the heater that was over $50 they gave me $46 very poor service all around.
The electrician was very informative and pleasant with his explanations about our problem without being arrogant. He took his time to evaluate the problem and left with reassurances!
Horrible experience, I have had FAHW for years and it has always been a struggle. Customer service is contracted through a foreign call center. Just found that my ac can’t be fixed without out of pocket costs because there are clauses in the contracts and things that aren’t covered. You get no notifications from the company about service appointments and little to no help with understanding the “not covered” aspects. Very frustrating experience, we will be looking for a different service.

Submitted claim on March 1st for microwave not working. Today is March 25th. Repair tech has not visited yet, earliest available is April 4th. 5 WEEKS!? IS THIS REALLY THE BEST YOU CAN DO? WITH THIS SLOW RESPONSE, WHAT IS THE LIKELIHOOD THAT I WILL RENEW MY POLICY ON MAY 5TH? Update 4/9: 2 tech visits, 40 days, microwave still isn't fixed. FAHW offered $50 to buy a microwave as a temp fix.
Customer service is very bad, with no customer considerations. Its all about money. I have one of the best plans First Warranty has and tried to use it, Wednesday, 19 March, for a dryer, and at that time, no other problems. FAHW scheduled a Sears Repairman to come out on Friday, so I took off work because it was form 8 AM to 5 PM. By 11;30 they called me and said that they had to cancel and rescheduled my appointment for Wednesday 26th with no compensation whatsoever because of the cancellation. So today, the 25th, I find that my garbage disposal is leaking. I called the company and got the same old stuff about the service fee of $100 AGAIN for adding another item. I asked about the cancellation and waive the 2nd $100 and they said they could do nothing. Not even a supervisor who was just a parrot with no ability to help that I could see.
