These guys used to be exceptional. Ordering and delivery was like a dream. Since Brexit and the change in rules it’s a very different story. I placed my first order after Brexit and my items were seized by Customs. For those who wave the flag of you know the risk of possible seizures when making purchases we know, your just ignorant to reason behind it. Its perfectly legal to purchase tobacco products online from the EU for delivery to the UK, however if the goods are not declared that makes it illegal. I get that cigarettes are incredibly expensive in the UK and EU process are much cheaper which is why people order from abroad. The way this company are operating is leaving people out of pocket which is wrong. To take people’s money and then lie on Customs declarations is at best unethical. They will probably argue the T&C’s state the buyer is responsible for paying the taxes, which is all well and good but you need to outline the options of how this can be paid. Either ask them to pay these upfront when purchasing the goods or declare them correctly and note on the declaration buyer to pay taxes. People cant complain when they are given options. Another problem that those of us who have had items seized our details are recorded on the Customs database so we are more likely to be stopped and searched when getting a return flight back to the UK.

For all of those who have bought tobacco from here, and complained that it was seized by customs - clearly should know that they are taking a risk when they order tobacco from abroad, not complain when the obvious may happen. After several e-mails to these guys and receiving quite reassuring replies, I guessed the chances of my first ever order had a 1 in 9 chance of being seized. Sure enough it was seized/stolen. £160 down the swan.
Warning if you are buying from UK! When your tobacco gets seized, which it will eventually, this company will offer no recompense at all! They will leave you high and dry with over £300 lost and tell you that even though THEY LIED on the customs forms (Calling my paid product a "gift") the cost of this falls directly on you. I paid legitimately with a debit card, expressed i lived in the UK. Any tax which should be paid should be added to the price at the Point Of Sale....but instead they lie to UK customs and your product gets seized. I have used this company for about 5-6 months, (getting 20 pouches every 2 months)i will not be using it again and will be warning others against it.

These are unfortunate times for all of us with the pandemic and Brexit. DPD has lost my package, but I had great communication with Patrick from Dutch Tobacconist and got refunded as soon as the investigation with DPD finished, which was about 10 days. It is not the company's fault, as I've ordered twice before (before and during the pandemic) and both times it arrived within 4-5 days. Hopefully it will all get better soon.
Customs seized my cigarettes on the 9/2/21 and still have them...it was better when they used DPD as it was only a 2day delivery
Well customs have seized my tobacco. I knew the risks when I ordered so have to take it on the chin. I have had several deliveries from these guys and the whole experience was positive and quick. They do turn the order around quickly and I did prefer when they used DPD as it was quicker but it still only took about 5 days with postal NL. Looking at negative reviews is annoying even though I am now in the same position of having had mine seized. This can not be blamed on the company and the risk is all yours. I have placed another order for another £150 so I really hope this lot gets through customs.
Don't buy the cigarettes through them. The Customs seized my cigarettes (Ireland) and dutchtobacconist won't give me refund. Very bad experience.

Have been ordering from company without any problems but my order was seized by customs in Ireland, I feel the company should have warned customers that this could happen
Used to be great. 4 day delivery to UK. However my latest cigars order still hasn’t arrived after 3 weeks. The Company say it’s not their problem and I should have known the regs and that Customs might well hold up any delivery. Maybe it is my fault but UK buyers beware from now on. Now 5 weeks since I paid. The Dutch Tobacconist not interested. Never again. Well good news. They sent another supply to me free of charge and I received them at the weekend. Good stuff. Thanks.

Excellent service quick & efficient. I will definitely use again. Was a bit apprehensive at first as have never ordered tobacco online but I couldn’t fault them. My husband quite pleased with his tobacco. Order arrived within 5 days. Brilliant service & excellent communication.
I have made 4 orders with these guys all over €150 first 3 orders recieved within 4 days!!! My 4th order got stopped by Customs & Excise and it took nearly 2 weeks for me to recieve they held it for a few days and released it without any extra charges or any issues what so ever... I did think I would get a letter asking for money but nothing after this I have no issues useing these guys with peace of mind... So dont jump the gun if customs do select your parcel for search it can take 2 weeks... otherwise they deliver within 4 days...
We know the risk when ordering. Crying about customs is part of the gamble. When your package arrives, Hardman can only be praised for top quality at a great price. I will use Hardman Cigars for as long as they continue quality at a great price. Its not their fault some deliveries get snatched by thieves, whether in uniform or not.
