I have been using this company for a long time, and they have never disappointed. They have always gone out of their way to be helpful and no problem is too big. Transactions, deliveries and orders are all easy, quick and efficient. Wouldn’t go anywhere else for my purchases now. Couldn’t fault them at all.

Price of insurance has gone up considerably and the cost of postage compared to other companies.

Used to be really good pre brexit. After brexit you take your chance and I've always paid the insurance to ensure if seized I receive another delivery. However, tobacco prices €224 log in for UK delivery €275.. €50 more than actual price, plus insurance and delivery and it's pushing it beyond taking the risk.

I received another top class order at a greatly reduced price compared to UK. Complainers Stop. You like the rest of us know the risk of goods being seized. You also get the buzz when handed your parcel at a huge discount. Hartman tobacco have being fast and friendly on every occasion. The insurance offered is a good compromise in the case of loss. I'm sure they will continue to be a great company.

Ordered tobacco to the UK. They shipped the parcel 13th July and made it into the UK 16th July. From there, it was awaiting custom clearance until 25th July (Yesterday) then it was sorted at National hub, moved to delivery Depot overnight and has been delivered today (26th July). Was worrying with the amount of time in customs clearance but it went through without being checked. Yes, a parcel COULD be seized or Duty invoice raised but this did NOT happen to me on this occasion. The parcel contained exactly what I ordered. Their customer service is very quick to respond and re-assuring. If you cannot afford potentially loosing your parcel (Via seizure from customs), PAY FOR THE INSURANCE - It is still a huge savings from buying tobacco in a UK shop! Dutch Tobacconist informed me that it can take 30 days for parcel to clear customs... if it does get seized and you paid for insurance, they will re-ship/refund. On this occasion, my experience has been great and I will consider buying from Dutch Tobacconist again in the future. Absolutely exceptional customer care and support experience from this extremely professional and courteous company. Placed six orders and received them all to the UK with zero issues whatsoever. Ordered at the end of December and parcel was slightly delayed - so I emailed TDT and almost immediately received such a friendly, informed reply. I'd definitely go for their insurance option (but that's just me), it adds 10 percent but gives total peace of mind. Such a reliable and nice shop, they set extremely high standards - and always exceed expectations! Genuine UK customer and an honest (unpaid/unrequested) review. 10 out of 10 from me. Received my order 10 days after order. During the kings stuff. No problems. Not a massive order. Maybe that's the trick.

Be aware, if ordering from the UK, of excessive customs charges that may apply. I raised an order amounting to approximately £75 and several weeks later received a letter from Parcel Force asking for a payment of £97.01 for customs charges before the package could be delivered to me. Needless to say I did not pay this extortionate amount so am waiting for the sender to receive the package back and issue me with a refund. On querying this with the sender I was advised that customs charges are a possibility. On looking on the site itself this is not clearly indicated and is only in very small print in the terms and conditions.

£222.92 customs charges for 10 packs of amber leaf 50g. I paid about £400 in total. That's dearer than using one of the delivery apps lol. I could of travelled to Spain, and paid £8 a pack. It's your choice.
