Excellent service! Recent move out experience with DJ Alexander and in particular with Gerrit Alberts was excellent! He made the process simple delivering clear communications and excellent service.

Our boiler broke on the 26th January, was reported immediately, took 2 days to get an "emergency" appointment, then it took a further whole week to get a visit from Scottish Gas to just survey it. Nothing then happened for another whole week, and on the 13th February they told us that if we hadn't heard from the contractor, to "give them a call". DJ Alexander are our letting agency, supposed to be supporting us with getting our boiler replaced as soon as possible, and after almost 3 weeks they ask us to "give them a call", after which they tell us to let them know if "we haven't heard from them in 1 week". I understand boilers can take a little time to be replaced, but it took over 3 weeks for it to be resolved, and DJ Alexander dragged their heels at every opportunity. I look forward to the day we move out and no longer need to deal with this shambles of an organisation.

Do not trust this company. Both the owners and tenants leave a lot to be desired. I have the misfortune of living under a flat which is let by DJ Alexander. I recently experienced flooding through my ceiling causing damage to paintwork and ruining personal items. I was initially told by DJ Alexander that this was the fault of the tenants due to them not closing the shower door properly (exacerbated as the tenants refused to open the door whilst water was pouring through my ceiling) and was assured I would be reimbursed for the cost of the repainting and personal items. Whilst the member of staff I dealt with was pleasant, I was later told that no reimbursement would be forthcoming as it was an “accident” and due to insurance excess I am now out of pocket. As a tenant I would be concerned about the type of landlord they work with and as a landlord I would be concerned about due diligence carried out in relation to tenants.

Cameron Lindsay was very helpful for my property inspection. My repair issues have been taken care of easily since I moved in.

From start to finish the process of renting out my property with DJ Alexander was effortless and efficient. An introductory meeting took place with David B., who took time to answer in detail any questions I had. David provided me with in-depth up to date market information that was relevant and comparable to my property. The level of detail and effort confirmed the decision in choosing him, and DJ Alexander. Once listed, the process was lead and excellently managed by Emily L. I was regularly provided with updates throughout the process which gave me great clarity and assurance of what was going on. Emily was professional at answering my questions in a timely and detailed manner. The effort and the above-and-beyond assistance Emily put in from start to finish should not go unrecognised and should be merited. The service provided by these individuals was superb. I would recommend.
