My experience with my personal matching specialist, Kristina has been amazing. The reason I gave it a 4 stars is because we went into rematch and our account should have been paused but we kept getting demanding emails that we had an outstanding balance. I tried getting in contact and just kept being passed along to different departments. When I did get a hold of the department I needed, they could only be reached via email and took about 3 days to respond.
Skyler was an amazing matching specialist and was extremley helpful in providing us direct feedback so we could ultimatly find and match with the best au pair for us. She deserves five stars! The four stars is because I the web platform and email communication with the system can be better.
We found the process of getting an au pair through Cultural Care to be fairly easy, especially if you have someone who's been through it to give you tips on putting together your family profile like we did. A colleague who had hosted two au pairs previously introduced them to us and they allowed us to review their profile and house rules to help us put ours together. We also like that Cultural Care takes the welfare of the au pairs as seriously as they do since we've heard horror stories of mistreated house help in other countries. Generally, we believe that treating au pairs with respect and dignity as you would any family member helps them do their work better. Anne and Kojo
It’s been a great experience:)
My experience has been incredible, I found an excellent family, I feel happy and loved by them, we have shared a lot of time as a family.
I’m having a great experience with cultural care, and of course with my host family. Cultural care has been very helpful to me during my experience, so I don’t feel alone in this process.
All of the contacts were very helpful. They coached us every step of the way and were patient with my family as we made our choice. We felt supported and had all of our questions answered.
Great experience all around! We highly recommend thid company for an Au Pair
Everyone has been extremely responsive, helpful and professional!
The culture care team as been so helpful throughout the whole process. From start to finish they have facilitated the experience of finding an au pair and any questions I had were quickly answered.
Still in adaptation, but I have all the necessary support
terrific! so communicative and helpful!
My matching specialist, Jess, was very attentive and helpful.
Trish Usher was an amazing support throughout the matching process. She provided so many resources and helped alleviate our worries. We would not have been able to match so quickly without her help.
I have adjusted to being in america, so it has be come easier to do my tasks on a daily basis.
3rd match, same issues as always. "Matching Specialists" are pleasant, but dont really listen, and the reality is how are they supposed to find a match when they are not you? They dont know you, or anything about what you really might want/need in an aupair. The suggestions they made for us were always way off base with zero understanding of what we were looking for. The method of preferred communication is email, and if you want to talk to them via phone you essentially need to always schedule it. Sorry, that might work great for some, but not us. Our life is so dynamic, to have to schedule a phone call, 3-5 days out is frustrating. It just isnt really helpful. The website is atrocious, with limited search functions its very difficult to search for specific things. The aspect of being limited to 3 connections makes it very difficult when so often the aupairs dont respond for 2-3 days, then when they do its another 2-3 days before having an interview. Thats almost a week just to have a first conversation with one person! Lastly, they (CC) function on volume. They do have TONS of profiles of potential aupairs, but the quality of aupairs is fairly dismal. Not sure how they do their interviews but something is missing. One candidate we spoke with was given a "proficient english" mark, but after 5 minutes of trying to have a conversation, we gave up as the aupair couldn't understand a single thing besides hello and how are you. The candidates seem to be misled and think this is a vacation for them, and that all families live in mansions and have vacation homes, taking vacations on a monthly basis. The idea of working on the weekends seems to offend many of the candidates as not acceptable. These are all items during the CC interview with the aupairs that should be stressed to them so they may have a more realistic expectation of the program.
The entire process was seamless and the team was very helpful.
Cultural care au pair has a great platform and wonderful candidates. My matching specialist Gianna was super knowledgeable, responsive, and helpful. So was my previous matching specialist Chase. My experience with the LCC has been mediocre. The LCCs are the company contact throughout the au pair year. She’d give very generic answers when I’d ask for advice on problems and it seemed like her heart wasn’t really into the socials/meet ups. Expect highly professional and competent on the front end (matching) with a bit of a phoning it in attitude throughout the rest of the year.
My au pair experience is going great! I love my host family, I love South Carolina and the group of friends I have found in these three months!
Great communication! I feel safe and secured and understood! Great support system
