I love the family, but I really don’t get very along with my hostdad, we don’t argue or fight at all, but his way of thinking I so different than mine and sometimes that can be hard

I'm trying to find a way to resolve the issues that are arising with the host family, mainly related to the means of transportation.

I looked at a lot of au pair options and I wish the videos didn't have prompts. It was tiresome to hear 100 times what makes the difference between a good au pair and a great one. I would prefer to see a video made by the au pair without prompts. The search was confusing, it didn't seem like the newest au pairs were placed on the first page so it was hard to pick up where I left off.

It’s good! I have a amazing host family

This was my seventh time searching for an au pair and I'm sorry to say that the matching coordinator that was assigned to me this time, was by far the most useless. Although they aren't ever very involved, our matching specialist was not helpful. We had a set intro meeting that I set on her calendar and she was 25 minutes late to show up. I only had 5 minutes before I had to jump back to a work meeting. I also texted and emailed her ahead of time letting her know exactly what I was looking for that she didn't even bother to read. Then over a week later she finally looked at my likes and went ahead and connected to someone without asking me that was a complete miss. Thank goodness for my local LCC. She was there for me every step of the way. She was able to give me sound advice, helped me a bit behind the scenes with explaining why candidates were turning us down and was checking in with us every step of the way. If it were up to me, I'd much rather give her the $450 matching fee. She deserved it 100%.

Be more transparent with their costs and charges. Hire better trained LCC’s.
