This firm communicates very well, as stated in their credo, however their billing practice leaves much to be desired. What was advertised as an $89.00 brokerage fee turned into a $400.00+ fee once all of the various add-ons are calculated. My cross-border transaction was valued at $6,600.00 and to have fees of 7% is far too expensive. I won't be using this service again.

I provided all customs clearance information on 18th October for shipment from Toronto to Oregon. Only when I inquired to status of shipment on 26th October was action taken to clear my shipment with customs. Huge lapse in communication between agents and no one following status of my open ticket. I have requested full refund.

They make it easy for customer

Our company import materials and equipment from different countries, approximately 2 or 3 containers per year, most of the time the service is good, but I had a couple of very bad experiences. Las one the shipping company sent an email with the arrival notice and nobody told me, they didn’t upload the arrival notice in the website. Finally I was getting worried for the delay of the shipping so I contacted the supplier and the shipping company, and the shipping company sent me the email they sent to Clearit approximately 1 month ago, I consider this pretty negligent service.

I’ve tried contacting you guys multiple times by phone by email and haven’t received any return call my piece of equipment that was being shipped in got stuck in customs coming from Canada and nobody alerted me or communicated with me the reason or allowed me to take care of what was charged. In return the transport company held my piece of equipment hostage inflated their bill plus the customs bill and demanded cash upon delivery which I wasn’t even in the same town the equipment was going to. They had no way of taking a card payment is created a big problem for me thanks clear it

Was a good help from clear USA to import my machine from canada

They got the job done at a reasonable price and in a reasonable time frame, but they cannot be reached on the phone and it was a little tough to get some questions answered

First time user and First time ever Importing and purchasing direct from China on my own so it can all seem very overwhelming going thru the process and jumping thru hoops .... but I will say ClearIt makes it simple. I dont think I saved much money going this route but it was definitely much more secure / trustworthy feeling.

I was late in filing my ISF. The staff did a great job getting it filed in time

Terrible service! Requests are answered too slow or NEVER. They don't give a damn about your deadlines, even if you gave them 15 days prior advance notice. They just ignore your messages and don't reply. DO NOT RECOMMEND! Be wary of a similar broker
