Easy to clear shipment from Canada to US!
Clearit is very convenient to actually use but there are some problems with them. 1) I have used them three times now, and each time there was a problem. First time they used the wrong hts code, and i was overcharged on the duty. That was fixed after some difficulty though. Second time they double-charged me. The caught their mistake (they said) but I only learned of this when I notified them of it. I actually was hit twice for the same amount. The third thing is that it is VERY difficult to communicate with them on a timely basis. The "chat window" is not bad when someone is actually live communicating back with you but this has recently turned into a "chat" that gets back to you in many hours later, so its basically email which is not very functional, unless you have all the time in the world to way 1/2 a day for any reply. 2) The other issue is their "a-la-carte" charges and fees. The basic broker fee is fine but they get a huge boost to "prepare the documents", etc. Well, isnt that what the broker fee is for? If not, what is the broker fee for but to prepare all the docs and clear the shipment? If they get their sh*@ together, its a good concept but they must communicate better. My 2 cents.

It was easy to navigate the website for my order, and I got fast and great service.
The representatives at Clearit do not communicate with each other as they all give different information. The lack of communication is horrible. The client basically clear shipments themselves as we had to call customs and get the process moving constantly. Your card on file will be charged without anyone advising of fees before hand. Invoices are sent after you are charged. Horrible, horrible representatives.
Not sure what is happening there, I think it could be that I referred Freightos & Alibaba freight over to you & Since the service has gone down. I'm getting nervous about freight arriving without isf info complete. please advise we are OK with 2 orders coming from china 1 for Tape and the other for machines. thank you, Izzy

Clearit made the process easy for importing cargo from overseas. They handled all documentation quickly and accurately and communicated well. The use of the dashboard let me know exactly what was needed and what was happening.
Great, quick communication and responsiveness
No one answers the phone or email. My freight forwarder and I have been trying to get in touch for days. My products are stuck in Charlotte because a form simply needs to be updated and no one is responding. Super unprofessional.
Clearit was quick and proficient and made the process easy. They let me know which documents were needed to keep the ball rolling. However, I wasn't always sure as to what the next step would be as far as actually receiving the item, which may not be their field, but when I would ask they wouldnt really answer that part. Communication with all parties involved in this process is 100% key as the company I ordered through let me know when they item would arrive VS. me thinking once the process with ClearIt was done I would receive the item. I would use ClearIt again.
Clear it took over a week to provide customs charges after receiving the arrival notice, and they took way to long to provide wireing instructions and then took days to check if the wire has been received even with the IMAD # provided would never consider using them again. edit/reply that is false we requested wireing instructions at 11:40 am I sent 2 more messages that day before I got a response at 4:40 pm
Clearit failed to clear my shipment through customs on the day that they had said they HAD DONE IT. This cost holding truck at border overnight at over $900 USD DAY & ROSS STILL NOT PAID AND I HAVE NOT YET BEEN CREDITED.
