Regarding Books Shipped to CASH4BOOKS 5/24/2018: I am NOT a customer who loves you! In my experience and opinion Cash4Books provides misleading quotes with an unacceptable bait and switch tactic that occurs through their automated quote system. Due to this I would never again use or recommend this company EVER. SELLERS BEWARE: Instead of supporting and getting ripped off by a slick online business why not do some good in the world by donating your used books to schools and libraries? After a very strange and unsatisfying 3 book trial run using Cash4Books that’s what I’m doing with over 100 expensive books I no longer have room for in my professional collection. HERE’S MY STORY: I was given quotes for 3 books that totaled approximately $75. Conveniently for Cash4Books, but not for me the seller, the packing slip generated by the shipping process did not include quotes, just ISBN numbers and book titles. So I was left with no record of EXACT quoted pricing for each individual book. However, the packing slip DID show ISBN numbers for the books being shipped, and that information clearly left a trail of evidence for how they are working their "bait and switch" scam. Afterwards the only communication I received after the online selling process and shipping was an email announcing a payment of $33.62 (sent to PayPal account). This was a complete and unpleasant surprise since the books I shipped had perfect covers, not a mark in them or pages torn or folded—in short they were in pristine and virtually unused condition. Too bad I did not document with pictures. Further, at no time did I ever receive a prior notice from Cash4Books about why I was not entitled to full quote prices. Nor was I ever offered an option to refuse the offer of $33.62. IMPLICATIONS? CashforBooks fails to provide adequate transparency in their sales transactions.This leaves the door wide open for them to pay sellers amounts much less than what's expected, based on the inaccurate quotes they produce through their automated quote system. My experience further suggests that this seriously misleading quote system is fundamental to Cash4Books operations. In my case I got lured in with very reasonable quotes, but in the end only got a payout of roughly 50% of quoted pricing. So, in the style of gambling casinos the house always wins and the customer gets fleeced. BAIT AND SWITCH? RIP OFF? How else can I explain that I typed in exact ISBN numbers, right off 2 of the expensive books themselves, yet the automated system generated quotes and allowed me to proceed to “Sell My Books Now” even though completely DIFFERENT ISBN numbers came up in the quotes? Otherwise I would have realized that Cash4Books was about to reel in another unsuspecting victim, me, and gotten out of their website. What other sense can I make of getting the same result again on June 8 2018, when I entered these same ISBN numbers and once again got the exact same high “total cash earned” ($73.63 for the same 2 books), based once again on totally different ISBN numbers from the ones that legitimately reference my older editions? CONCLUSION: ISBN evidence shows HOW Cash4Books offered enticing quotes based on different, newer editions of my books, and then proceeded to pay me much lower prices for my older editions! I would hardly call that FAIR and HONEST business practices. SLICK, SLEAZY, and DECEITFUL seem more accurate.

Everything went smoothly. From the time they emailed me that they received my book, it took 24 hours before the money showed up in my paypal account.

Literally, I was expecting this website to be a scam. It turned out to be the complete opposite. I sent my textbook with the free shipping label, and after a week or so, the company offered me the money as promised! Went directly into my Paypal, and into my pocket! I am surprised that I received the entire amount, as my textbook was not in perfect condition.

I was quoted a price for a book and received an email from them 2 weeks after they received it saying there was an error in the system and they couldn’t honor my quote. I believe they really should have honored the quote since it was an error on their part but I am old school. They could at least have notified me more promptly.

Love that I was able to get rid of a few old school books. Some should be able to be sold for more money such as anatomy or micro, but all in all very nice to use this site. Easy to put in a package, print out a label, and send it out.

My daughter no longer needed this book. I searched multiple sites for a fair price. Cash$Books offered the best deal and the return process was quick and easy. If in the future, we need to sell books again, Cash4Books is who we will choose. I highly recommend giving them a go if you are looking to sell you textbooks.

due to a "technical error," they wanted to send me my books back. As a professional book reseller, this almost never happens. they only cost me about $100, but it could've been worse. I will not be working with this company again.
