- This is my reply to your comment on my review. - There was no abuse whatsoever, only unresolved frustration, and I will explain: 1. **Order Placement** - On 23/10, I placed an order with this company. - The estimated lead time was 3-5 working days. 2. **Delayed Delivery** - Two weeks passed, and my order still hadn't arrived. - I began sending daily requests asking them to confirm if the parcel had been sent. 3. **Responses from the Company** - I received very kind and reassuring replies stating that the parcel was on its way. - Despite this, an additional two weeks passed without delivery. 4. **Urgent Need** - At this point, I needed the boxes urgently for a large and important project. - I decided to order again from a reliable supplier. 5. **Request for Refund** - I contacted cardboardboxes.co.uk to request a refund and asked them not to deliver the boxes. - They asked me to resend the refund request to another email address with additional details, which I promptly did. 6. **Unexpected Delivery Confirmation** - I didn’t hear back from them until I unexpectedly received confirmation that the parcel was on its way. 7. **Parcel Delivery** - The parcel was left outside my home despite my request for cancellation. - I wrote to the company again, asking for the parcel to be collected and for a refund. - They asked me to send a copy of the email in which I had requested the refund. 8. **Refund Request** - I forwarded the email where I had requested a refund. - I found it ridiculous that I needed to provide information they should already have. 9. **Company's Response** - Their reply stated that my request didn’t comply with their cancellation policy: - "Business customers do not have a cooling-off period." - They didn’t address the fact that the parcel arrived **6 weeks late** instead of the 3-5 working days. 10. **Inspection of the Boxes** - Today, I finally opened the boxes, as I had used boxes from another supplier for my project. - I discovered that the boxes were of poor quality: - The large boxes were folded in the middle, not along the proper folding lines. - This caused a massive crease on the surface of the walls. - The crease not only looked bad but also damaged the structural integrity of the boxes. 11. **Final Thoughts** - In the end, I feel fortunate that I used the other supplier’s boxes. - These boxes will be donated to my kids’ school. - I’m sure they will find something fun to do with them.

Ordered over £150 of boxes early November. NO delivery. NO useful communication NO phone line Cancelled order after 3 weeks of no delivery. NO refund after 3 weeks from cancelling. Update: Promised refund on 23rd November. Reminded them on 9th December. They confirmed refund actioned on 10th December but no money received so far on 14th December. Update. Still no refund received on 23 Dec. My bank is now investigating as I’ve filed a dispute. Update 28.1.25- my bank/credit card is currently investigating the failure to refund my money. I don't think it would be helpful to identify my account at this stage because you will give the same false information you returned to us by email.

Avoid Cardboardboxes2go at all costs! My experience was a nightmare Zero Communication: I requested a refund on Monday and got no response until they suddenly claimed my order was dispatched on the fifth day. They ignored my repeated questions about dispatch status. Last-Minute Dispatch: They waited until the last possible moment to dispatch my order, causing chaos as I'm moving. Useless Customer Service: Calling them is a waste of time. They dodge refund requests and refuse to help. Unfair Terms and Conditions: Their terms are misleading and unfair. They claim a 5-working-day delivery is normal but don't guarantee it, and this isn't made clear when ordering. They charge an administration fee even if the parcel hasn't been dispatched for days. They ignored my refund request and seemed to dispatch my parcel just to make me pay more for returning it. Delivery Failure: I paid £59, including £8 for delivery, and still haven't received my parcel after 5 working days. This company is unreliable and dishonest. Save yourself the hassle and shop elsewhere!

The boxes I ordered are excellent and as described on the website. Good value for money. When I went to collect my order the collection point was clearly defined and I could park right outside. The staff were welcoming. The only downside was that I had to wait two weeks for them to be ready which was surprising considering they were standard boxes without print. I would buy from the company again but have to do so well in advance another time. Hence only the four stars.

Wished I had seen these reviews, I ordered on the 20th november and still nothing. I have had to put in a Paypal claim and try and get my money back.

Terrible, and I wish I had read these reviews beforehand. I had to resort to a refund via my credit card company after fruitless and evasive correspondence with this company. Only half the boxes were delivered and, when I enquired, I was told the rest had been taken to a pick up point (rubbish DPD, but that's another story). I was unable to collect them so asked for a refund and was told I'd have to wait for the order to be returned from the pick up point in due course. All fair enough, but when I chased up to find if the order had been returned, I was asked to log the return via a separate email and provide tracking details and dates, which of course I could not. When I responded to that effect, my point was not answered directly; instead I received an email telling me that 'goods need to be returned within 14 days of receipt', which was irrelevant, as the goods had not been received by me. Again I replied to that effect and this time was sent an email telling me that the goods had been delivered to me and that a refund was therefore not due. I got the impression that the company was trying to avoid taking responsibility at all costs and was not above acting dishonestly.

absolute joke of a company boxes took nearly a month to come and when they finally arrived they were the wrong size to what i ordered, i have had to raise a credit card charge back just done with their pathetic responses dont have the time to keep emailing them how can a company operate like this. I ordered 20 cardboard trays for £15.99 plus £8 delivery fee. Got a smashed parcel with only 10 trays. The ones I got had scuffs on them therefore completely useless for intended purpose. Customer service reply - they need me to assemble all the trays and take pictures because the scuffs I documented seem fine to them. Also denied that I got only half the amount, claimed they need to check warehouse because it was delivered in full. Terrible product, complete scammers. Stay away- better to buy on Amazon, even if this looks cheaper- because it won’t be. Stay away

This is the worst company I have dealt with after many years of online buying, it’s not only that the product is inferior like others have said it’s the total lack of customer service. I would not recommend this company in any circumstances. I ordered some boxes for postage and found they were too thin and would not protect my goods so called them to return as per their procedure. I was told I needed a return slip from their return department which was fine. I also asked what the weight was and the woman ( I assume the rude one in other posts) said just put down 25 kg, I though this was wrong so used scales and it was 12.5kg, so she wanted me to pay more for the return postage. After a week of not receiving the slip I was told there had been a flood in the warehouse and a slip would be emailed shortly, what a flood had to do with it I don’t know. After another week I was told it would be sent out straight away, it wasn’t I asked for manager and was told I couldn’t speak to him as he just pops in randomly from time to time. I then started a procedure through PayPal and now have my refund after sending goods back without a slip by permission of PayPal. They should be ashamed how they treat customers, it took me over 6 weeks with many fob offs to get my refund, I paid for goods return as well. Do not buy from them, the quality is poor and customer service non existent.

Scam company!!! Ordered a box and bubble wrap, said 3-5 days. 2 weeks later still hasn’t arrived and they just lie on emails. Avoid!!!!

Terrible company and absolutely appalling delivery service. My order wasn’t delivered to me but I got a notification saying it was and the picture for proof is not my door, I can’t see number 50 anywhere let alone the bloody package!!

Very late delivery. Even worse customer service. Refused to cancel order before it was sent out. Then told me I had to send it back and pay a fee to restock the item. Should have read reviews first. Save yourself the pain, do not use this company.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. If I could leave a 0 star review I would. It has been almost 3 months and I have still not received my order (worth almost £400). I was told that bespoke orders usually take 14 days, but almost 3 months later still not a glimmer of hope that it will be delivered. Awful customer service, I am continuously having to chase up where my order is, with delivery being pushed back constantly with no explanation and barely a sincere apology. Customer service is rude and unhelpful. They refuse to give refunds for bespoke orders, despite The consumer rights act 2015 stating that I have a right to a refund if my order isn't delivered within a reasonable timeframe, regardless as to whether it is a bespoke order. Please save yourself the time and hassle, do not order from this company. I should have looked at the reviews before using this company! I have reported to trading standards. UPDATE: 19/11/2024. Only received less than half of my order (220/500 boxes). And yes it gets worse... They were incorrect and much worse quality than the sample that was sent! I contact the company and say they are wrong and not the same as the sample i signed off. Of course they blamed me, and LIED, saying that the sample they have at their warehouse matches what was sent. I would not sign off a sample that was incorrect and not what i had asked for. This is still not resolved. Eventually after many arguments with rude customer service lady, i was told they would change the remaining boxes to the style that i requested. However of course they had another machine break (one excuse after another). Finally they agreed that as they havent been made yet, i can get a refund for the remaining boxes. And no surprise here... i am still waiting on the refund..... I have no hope that i will ever receive it!!

Received an unassembled box of very thin layers which supposedly houses a TV up to 65 inches. My 55 inch TV caused the bottom of the box to buckle under its weight. Didn't even make it to the car before the whole thing fell apart. The boxes are absolutely crap. I had plenty of bubble wrap luckily but they sent barely a few sheets which would have done jack. For £30 I expected a lot more

Don't even deserve a 1 star. Visited the store about a month ago and had to wait around 10 minutes to even be seen. Okay, i thought i would let them off as they were probably busy. Decided to visit today to get some boxes and bring in a glass, as on the previous visit the colleague we spoke with advised to do this so they can get an accurate dimension of the glass so that the boxes would suit. Went in and rang the bell, 5 mins went by, 10 minutes, 15 minutes got to 20 mins and left. Disgusting as you can literally hear people on the other side of the shelving. No courtesy to say they are busy or could you please wait. Absolutley no one come around for a 20 whole minutes so stood there like a knob for no reason. Rang the bell 4 times and no answer. Don't ever use this company. They are a joke and judging by all the bad reviews, everyone else thinks so too. Timewaste of a business.

Do not use this company, I never received my order, tracking information was false. Tried emailing the company but have had no replies, tried calling them just says person not available constantly. This company is a rip off!

Avoid this disaster of a company. Eliot and Alison Rushton are the owners and directors of this e-commerce nightmare. They will take your money, give you a delivery date that’s made up them provide you with false delivery and tracking info. They won’t even refund the order and tell you they can’t until it’s been delivered then you can request a refund when they know fine rightly they don’t have the order in stock and it hasn’t even been dispatched. They need to hang there heads in shame. No surprise they have had numerous other company issues previously. I hope this info helps someone else thinking of making a purchase. I will be informing all platforms including Facebook and Linkedin of the dirty deeds.
