E mailed me 2 annual statements, one gas, one electric but they were both for electric... no way they could re send the correct one! Amazing!

My energy bill has increased dramatically since my smart meter was installed. I reported this problem on16th February 2021 and I am still waiting for a result, it is now the 24th March 2021. It takes the company 4 days for a reply to an email and when making a call a message is taken and a promise made to call back several days later. The customer service is unacceptable!

I never experienced any problems as regards the supply of gas or billing whilst I was a customer of Bristol Energy but carried out my usual annual review as the end of the fixed price period approached and only moved having found a lower increased charge for the next twelve months from another supplier. I was very pleased and impressed as regards the company's customer service efficiency when, only two days after completion of the switch, I then received the final bill and confirmation that the small credit balance was being transferred to my bank without any need to request such action. I shall certainly include them in my review of charges in twelve months time.

I've been using Bristol Energy for several years now without a hitch. Their prices seem very fair to me, a pensioner, and their communication faultless. I've just signed up for another year.

I was advised that my current contract would be ending and advising me of possible future tariffs. I opted for a 25 month fixed tariff and received a letter telling me that I had been put on to a variable tariff. I phoned and had to leave a message with an answering service. I then received a letter advising me that I was now on my requested tariff. It was only after I received this letter that someone phoned me.

Brisol Energy is without doubt the worst energy provider I have ever come across. They charged me an extortionate rate (£125) a month when my property was empty for the year and then somehow have charged me an extra £250 for closing my account. They have phoned, emailed and text me continuously with threats if I didn’t pay this, without answering my questions on the high rates. Their customer services is shocking. Avoid at all costs.

I have been trying to change my tariff with Bristol Energy to BE Super Green January 23 for about 3 weeks now. Nice email from Alice six days ago "regretting" my customer experience. Still hasn't produced any notification of change of tariff though.

The call back system does not seem to be working at the moment. In the last two weeks i have phoned in twice and being told i would get a call back within 3 working days. I gave specific times when i would be at home. However the call back has not happened. Please can you help?

Been with company for one year on a one year tariff which was the best price I could find at the time. All was fine when I had zero interaction with the company and they just took their money via direct debit each month. At the end of the one year term they were automatically placing me on a tariff that I consider substantially more expensive. I email the company twice with zero response. I called and got a "voicemail" person explaining someone would be in touch with me over a five day period anytime within working hours. 1)This sort of window of them contacting me anytime they felt like was not convenient for me. 2)I never received that call at all. There is no customer service. They are unreachable as a company when you need them, in my experience. It's so disappointing. I wish these companies genuinely cares about anything other than lining their pockets.

I am having the same problem with Bristol Energy "customer service" as a lot of the other reviewers. I was told someone would call back within 3 working days - nothing happened. Today I was told that the customer service team are not employees of Bristol Energy. So much for "service"!

Got my call back on the day agreed. Happy with my green energy contract and the help I got over the phone. Also have the BE app and it is very easy to use.

I phoned customer service and someone phoned me back but said they could not deal with my query. They said someone else would phone but they didn’t. Apart from these issues your company is really good which is why I have stayed.

I don't normally leave reviews very often but I felt that I had to leave one based on the fantastic customer service that I received from Matt Read in the Home Movers Team. He was brilliant, really patient with me and fully explained when I asked a million and one questions. I am a first time buyer and I am just setting up on my own after having lived at home for many years and so I have never really had to deal with bills as I always just paid a lump sum towards my living costs. Matt explained which tariffs I should consider and made suggestions based on the previous owners usage, I believe and allowed me to make a fully informed decision. He also did not pressure me when my intentions were originally to leave Bristol Energy and go with a different supplier. I am truly grateful! Thank you! :-)

Yes I am a satisfied customer of Bristol energy, I've been a customer for at least 2 years now! They are very reasonable, competitive rates, and are very helpful when you contact them for help and support, to discuss their cheapest tariffs! Jp x
