I ordered a grill that was supposedly in stock in early December that was to ship immediately. On December 22 I was informed by email that actually the grill I ordered was not in stock and would have to be ordered in. I responded to this email voicing my displeasure. I was contacted by Joe (Capital BBQ). I communicated a request for Capital BBQ to extend a goodwill gesture and cover the shipping cost. I never received a reply. I could easily have ordered from an international site and received this grill within days but I had chose to support a local Canadian company. I'm disappointed with the customer service from Capital BBQ to say the least. I understand things do happen but to be ignored other than a cursory email basically saying, oh sorry we messed up you'll get your grill in a month is unacceptable to me as a consumer. A very disappointed customer. UPDATE: I was contacted by phone by Kathleen, a CSR with Capital BBQ. Kathleen was very sensitive to the fact that I had not had a very pleasant experience dealing with Capital BBQ. Her words and actions made me feel like a valued customer. Kathleen offered me a couple options to help make things right which was a very professional gesture. Due to her efforts, I will consider Capital BBQ for a future grill supplies purchase. Thank you Kathleen.

The sales staff was incredibly helpful in advising, guiding and accommodating me. Not only did they inform me, they gained my trust by not trying to "oversell" my needs. Great job!

I ordered a napeleon rogue 525 over the holidays. Now that we had the bbq delivered, i'm quite happy with it. It did however take a month to get assembeled and delivered for a bbq that was listed as in stock online. (i dont think their online inventory is up to date) Overall the grill is awesome and the service was good, just slower then expected. The delivery guys were great. Next time i might just go instore as its not too far.

I am a big fan of Capital BBQ and this website. And I almost uniquely get BBQ/Smoking supplies and equipment there. It's 3 Stars because I received a Thermoworks SmokeX and Billows as a gift, for smoking in my Kamado Joe. However, the Billows actually sold at Capital BBQ, does not come with a power supply adapter for 120V to the unique 12V the Billows requires. This meant the gift didn't work, and another cross-town trip to Capital BBQ in order to pick up an adapter. Not a terribly large inconvenience, but it would have been beneficial for the requirement to have a power supply adapter, with such a unique requirement, explained to the gift purchaser who could have included it with the gift at the same time.

Product arrived on time with no issues. Website very simple to use. Price was great.

BBQ arrived in an undamaged box. Although upon opening I found several of the pieces bent and the main cover of the BBQ had 2 large dents. Buyer beware.....when you get a good price you are probably buying their left over junk.
