This company is a disgrace to uk business it’s Customer service team lies to you, they also commit fraud by taking money out of your account when your contract with them ended 3 months ago and won’t refund it back to you. Have sent email with no reply back and called over 12 times to sort it out with the customer service team that have no idea and make things up to cover their own back

This company's customer services will not reply to any communication unless its in their favour. I ordered a system on 5/12/2017 which I was forced to cancel on the 11/12/2017 due to not being able to install a satellite dish to the property. I have paid in excess of £400 for the euipment which was delivered to me immediately. I have sent numerous emails to the company to collect their equipment and refund me. But as I have stated they NEVER bother to reply. Yesterday they sent me an invoice for £25 cancellation fee! What a complete joke the way this company is managed. Let's hope they read their reviews, but I do doubt that they are not receiving income in these instances so simply will not bother,Has anybody out there got any suggestions? Thanks .
I had avonline satellite for 3 years when I downgraded it was a nightmare trying to get it sorted.they still kept taking the same amount out of my account. In the end I had to cancel my direct debit and still have not been refunded. I would think twice before getting satellite broadband from them. And there customer service is rubbish every time I managed to get though they said they would sort it.but no such luck.keep well clear.
I've used them on and off for years - any port in a storm. I currently have 6 unanswered emails to their technical department since November 2017. Absolutely useless. Avoid them if you can find an alternative - which is what I'm about to do. Currently sitting on hold for 10 minutes for them just to answer my call!
So poor it’s surprising how they stay in business. Complete exploitation of members of the rural communities. I have been a customer for 4 years and the service has actually got worse not better over that time. I have a £49 per month package, cannot stream films and can’t get from 1 billing period to the next without running out of service. Their Customer service phone and complain service on line is shambolic.
Appalling customer service; no replies to email, money owed to me not refunded despite many, many promises that it would be sent to my bank. My advice is choose a different company

Fine for the first 2 years and then suddenly they took out unauthorised amounts of money from my account each month and owed me nearly £200. This stook 3 months of continual calls to get refunded with endless broken promises and ridiculous excuses. Beware!!!
The time it takes for you to answer the phone is very bad My problem was I could not log onto the new customer portal and the forgotten password link did not work, After wasting a lot of time and phoning customer service 3 times one of which that was never answered I managed to get logged in only to find that apart from my personal details there is no other information.
They overcharged me for months after I dropped my tariff down. I called in and was told they would refund me. Then they carried on taking the increased amount and never refunded me, and it's impossible to get through to anyone on the phone, and no one answers emails.

As said before i wish there was a no star rating. They are the worst company i have ever dealt with. They constantly bull##it they just try and fob you off with lies. This happened over the entire year of the contract and i have proof! DO NOT have anything to do with this company, you have been warned.
Since BT could offer nothing at all Avonline was the only option which indeed facilitated some access to the internet. Sadly it failed to deliver a consistently adequate service. However, when Vodaphone recently boosted its local 4g signal I never hesitated to purchase their data SIM cards - 50gb for £25 - which offers an incomparable service of over 20mb.
I was having trouble with over usage of the satellite link particularly at night. After consulting with supposed experts to try to identify the programme that was causing this I was still none the wiser until Gabor got onto the case and identified Rapport as a possible cause. We removed this programme and my usage fell from about a 1 GB + per day to about 200/ 300 MB ! He was most helpful over this matter and I am most grateful for his help as I am now working comfortably within my 20 GB allowance. and I am very glad not to have Rapport monitoring me in the background all the time of which I was entirely iunaware and have no idea how it got installed in the first place.
As I live in rural area satellite seemed an option I was told that I would be able to stream movies most evenings and average usage for two people would not be a problem, so I invested in the system total cost of £1000 I’ve been with Avonline six months now I wouldn’t recommend them to my worst enemy !!! The customer service is non-existent you are kept hanging on and on and on ! The speed varies from about 2.5 to about 12 mb download with constant buffering. Six phone calls in less than a week each one takes 30 to 50 minutes to get through they are so short staffed There are only two users in our household yet 40 gigs will last only two weeks!! ....that is watching four Netflix movies week standard definition ! Plus a few hours of social media. When you are down to your last gig they simply shut you down without warning ! You have been warned !
Customer service? Phone them up and not unusual to have to hold for 20 mins without getting any response. You are invited to use their online chat/help service - but cannot find it on their website. Inflexible data packages. 30 Gb a bit tight for me - can I have 40 Gb? No - you must have 50 Gb, which is much more than I want. Want to top up if running short at end of month? - £9.99 for 1 Gb!! Hard to check how much you are using - they keep changing the method of accessing your account. Currently I have no idea of how much I am using and cannot get any response from Avonway. Find a better supplier if you can!
Avonline are either in utter chaos or they are running a scam. I ordered a Satellite set from them in May 2017 and paid over £100 initially, received a grant per Govt of c £300 in the form of a voucher which Avonline would have used to meet set up . So expensive. Avonline have never installed ANYTHING. They gave me an installation date back in May. No one turned up. I complained. They apologised. A new date given. I wait in again all day. No one appears. No explanation. I complain again. Another date. Same result. This happened four times. I have called and emailed perhaps forty times. Nomresuly. The odd perplexed apology. Promises of investigation. Then silence. I have now reported them to my impressive MSP Mike Russell ( Argyll) and he has asked his Minister ( Fergus Ewing of Sc Govt) to investigate Avonline. I appreciate some of us just will not get decent broadband. But I am non rural near Strachur. On a main road. Just too far from the nearest green cabinet. Now Inam told all will be well in 2021;when we all will get Superfast. Hard to credit but we shall see. Meantime I am told Satellite will tide me over and my Govt has funded a grant for me. True about the grant but no Satellite after paying and waiting for over 7 months. Avonline? Words fail me but it cannot be just incompetence.
