Booking via the website was not straight forward and the return call requested was later than I hoped for. Once I received the call back the booking process was straightforward. The technician who attended the job was very polite and professional and his work was carried out to a very high standard.

I contacted autoglass via my insurance company for a stone chip repair. I sent the photos in to autoglass as requested, the van turned up on time and had to leave as the chip could not in fact be repaired. Full screen replacement booked at a branch, 40 minutes away from my house for the following week. I turned up on time to be told that the car could be with them for 3 to 4 hours. As the confirmation email said it would take 30 minutes I had no choice to re-book again. I turned up a week later and they replaced the screen. On my drive home, as it became dark, it became apparent that the heads up display was very ‘fuzzy’ and out of focus, also being off centre and so mis-aligned with the drivers seat that if I moved my head to the right, the display disappeared. I adjusted my seat up an inch and again, the display vanished again. Now I have a ‘warranty’ repair booked. Also, the replacement screen is not an original manufacturer item and the quality of the grading around the top of the screen ( to cut down on sun glare) is very poor.

Hedge End branch has waiting room and toilet facilities, the industrial estate is near a shopping estate with a Greggs and McDonalds. Their service was timely and professional, they let me know with reminder txt messages about the appointment, the service was quick and professional. The only negative I can report was the upselling of wiper blades, not the technician’s fault my guess is it’s the company pushing this as an add-on, which wouldn’t be a bad thing if the wipers were damaged from the screen fault, my negative point was the price point, after searching online for the same product the wipers could have been purchased for 50% less than the price paid.

Easy to book, lots of time slots to choose as well as the good contact when they would be arriving. Didn’t take long to fix glass.
