- EN - absence io is developed to help HR professionals in small and medium-sized enterprises easily handle team leave, employee vacation, attendance, and PTO. The software is cloud-based, supported with Android and iOS native apps for leave requests, approvals, and tracking. With absence io's online vacation planner, creating vacations is simple and easy. In the integrated calendar, the employee simply selects the appropriate period and sends an electronic absence request to the approver with one click. The manager is notified by e-mail and at the same time learns which other employees will also be absent during this period. In this way, the approver can make his decision on the basis of transparent and up-to-date data and avoid overlaps. Four moduls are provided: Absence Management, Digital Personal Files, Time Tracking and a mobile terminal. The whole system is unquestionably secure, with data stored on central servers in Germany. Die einfache Verwaltung von Betriebsurlaub, Mitarbeiterurlaub, Anwesenheit und PTO werden dabei in einem Tool vereint. Die Software ist Cloud-basiert und wird mit nativen Android- und iOS-Apps für Urlaubsanträge, Genehmigungen und Zeiterfassung unterstützt. Mit dem Abwesenheitsplaner von absence io ist das Erstellen von Urlauben einfach und unkompliziert. Im integrierten Kalender wählen Mitarbeiter:innen den entsprechenden Zeitraum aus und senden mit einem Klick einen elektronischen Abwesenheitsantrag an den/die Genehmiger:in. Der/die Vorgesetzte wird per E-Mail benachrichtigt und erfährt gleichzeitig, welche anderen Mitarbeiter:innen in diesem Zeitraum ebenfalls abwesend sein werden. So können Entscheidungen auf Basis transparenter und aktueller Daten getroffen werden und Überschneidungen vermieden werden. Es werden vier Module angeboten: Abwesenheitsmanagement, Digitale Personalakte, Zeiterfassung und ein mobiles Terminal. Das gesamte System ist sicher, da die Daten auf zentralen Servern in Deutschland gespeichert werden. Es ist benutzerfreundlich und leicht anpassbar.

Great to work with and easy to manage. Although in my opinion it would be good to have a better calendar to visualize easily the absences of the team.

The time increments are not broken down in to small enough units. How about 1/4 a day? I never took the training. With the time differences mine was scheduled for 4am my time. Truly want to be international? Accomadate your clients in their time zone....not yourself.

Very intuitive, easy to implement, great integrations into Google and Slack. Exactly what you need to manage absences. Always very friendly and helpful staff.

The calendar view needs to be revisited, needs to be less cluttered and also needs an option to view selected dates ranges.

My only point is, that is not easy to change working days for a certain group. There is no way to do it for the whole team at once, I have to create it one by one.

Excellent tool with good integration. Would rather not have the paid upgrade options so 'in your face' - better to give us compelling reasons / functionality to upgrade.

Simple and powerful tool, we only use some of the functions. It would be nice to be able to choose also hours now you can only choose half day or full day when you fill in your absence under each leavetype.
