- EN - absence io is developed to help HR professionals in small and medium-sized enterprises easily handle team leave, employee vacation, attendance, and PTO. The software is cloud-based, supported with Android and iOS native apps for leave requests, approvals, and tracking. With absence io's online vacation planner, creating vacations is simple and easy. In the integrated calendar, the employee simply selects the appropriate period and sends an electronic absence request to the approver with one click. The manager is notified by e-mail and at the same time learns which other employees will also be absent during this period. In this way, the approver can make his decision on the basis of transparent and up-to-date data and avoid overlaps. Four moduls are provided: Absence Management, Digital Personal Files, Time Tracking and a mobile terminal. The whole system is unquestionably secure, with data stored on central servers in Germany. So können Entscheidungen auf Basis transparenter und aktueller Daten getroffen werden und Überschneidungen vermieden werden. Es werden vier Module angeboten: Abwesenheitsmanagement, Digitale Personalakte, Zeiterfassung und ein mobiles Terminal. Das gesamte System ist sicher, da die Daten auf zentralen Servern in Deutschland gespeichert werden. Es ist benutzerfreundlich und leicht anpassbar.

Great tool very useful and practical
It was one of the best platforms to work with in a multi-cultural company. Simple, intuitive, integrating.
Enjoy the simplicity of the product. Consistently a little buggy/clunky in terms of UI/UX. Recent bug example: Calendar numeric dates not matching the correct day of the week. Clunky example: Selected absence specifics don't save when dates are adjusted. As in, end_at:lunchtime becomes end_at:evening if the days are altered.

Although I only utilise the Absence Management side of this product I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this product to other people
The SW is easy to use and quite intuitive. The navigation across pages is sometimes a bit cumbersome and it is not always easy to find information about my own people. On the other hand, I find that a full share of absences from the whole organization is a bit too extensive, not everybody should be entitled to see everybody's else absences and reasons.
Clunky interface, not integrated with my normal calendar.

Very useful overall but UI should be more responsive (it's too slow).
I like the application a lot however what you could definitely improve is the view of team absence ("company calendar". The calendar above is not readable, it's hard to guess what days are actually shown. It's also useless in my opinion to show there previous and next year, only the current year should be displayed.
