I was given assistance by Spares2go above and beyond any help I have ever received in securing my payment for a small part for a Dualit kettle. I couldn't have received better service had I been ordering a brand new kitchen!
I was looking for a part for a Krups coffee machine and through an exchange we found it was a discontinued part. Nothing to buy in the end, but can't fault the service in finding that out!
Needed a replacement rocker switch for my now out-of-production AquaVac Wet & Dry vacuum cleaner.. Perfectly OK but the switch suddenly packed in. My e-mail query was instantly answered and after a search they came back very quickly with a replacement. It was easy to order (postage free to the UK) and it was despatched the same day. Can't wait to get it!.
Ordered a washing machine part and was ready for a couple of weeks using the launderette while waiting. However, the part was sent by Spares2go on the day of order (a Sunday), with confirmation by email, it arrived by post and the machine was back in action after 4 days from order. I ordered a blender part and It arrived today, beautifully packed and in perfect condition. And exactly the item I asked for! Plus they had originally acknowledged my order and later emailed me to tell me that it was on its way.
I was surprised at the negative reviews for spares2go. I found them very helpful for the spares for my tumble drier. I applied for the wrong part for my old tumble drier and they got the right part with no fuss and posted it on to me asap and no extra charge.
I needed a replacement oven fan, I provided all the details of the model number and serial code. The part took 2 weeks to arrive, when it did it was a completely different product. Upon contacting the company, they couldn't care less that they had sent me the wrong part and had to get the spare from the manufacturer. Take my advice, go straight to the manufacturer.
Ordered an item for my Braun 4191 mixer, using their webpage spares2go.co.uk/browse-BRAUN-4191-CONTAINER_-_HERB_CHOPPERIt clearly says Braun 4191 Sadly it does not fit a Braun 4191. Are they interested in dealing with my problem - absolutely not. Order items from a supplier under the [External Reference] and get some proper customer service. These people just not interested in customer service.
Had a good experience many years ago, and a terrible one last year. Received the spare part I needed. After two months. Which was not the problem. The problem was that the part supplied was defective and the company insisted it could get me a replacement without delay. In the end, another 3 months passed by which time I had already told Spares2go in no uncertain terms both by email and by Recorded Delivery that I wanted a refund as I had now replaced my appliance and was fed up with waiting. I never received any acknowledgement, except emails saying 'we are checking our status and will get back to you shortly'. When the replacement part arrived, 5 months from the original order, I was staying in Wales and so when I finally got back 3 months later, I threw it in the bin and vowed never to use Spares2Go again. Until the company got my money, it had seemed very helpful, and it is a pity that the technical team is not backed up by decent service from other departments. I don't believe that this company is not CAPABLE of good service and would not wish to say "don't believe all the praisers", but my personal experience with Spares2Go is, frankly, terrible. Spares2Go is lucky I was in Wales, as I would otherwise have taken the company to the small claims court to get a refund. UPDATE - I never heard back from the firm after posting this review several years ago.
I am astounded by the number of negative reviews about this company, considering the acceptable service I have received. On 20th June I placed an order for a replacement spillage tray for my cooker which is more than 20 years old, and I paid more than £260 on my credit card. On 11th July I received an e-mail from them, saying that they had been trying to contact me by phone to discuss the order (unfortunately I missed these calls because I was away on holiday). Their e-mail said that the part I wanted is no longer available but they thought that another part might be suitable - and they asked me to send a photograph and accurate measurements. This I did. As I had heard nothing by 28th July I sent them another e-mail seeking an update. On 7th August I had an e-mail response from them, apologising for not being able to satisfy my order and offering to return my monies. I received a cheque for the full amount the next day. I would not hesitate to use this site again.
Brilliant ! Took a little while but , sourced the part I needed for an obsolete model washing machine and saved having to replace with new machine , very cost effective !
I found spares2go.co.uk helpful and courteous to deal with. They kept me informed throughout the entire process and I would not hesitate to recommend their service to other interested parties.
Spares2go were helpful in sourcing an appropriate part for me - when others didn't bother. Despite a 'hiccup' when the wrong part arrived initially, this was quickly acknowledged and steps taken to rectify the matter. Communications were by email - since the phone no was unobtainable - but despite my initial anxiety - this was no problem. Every communication was quickly replied to and I was kept informed as to progress in sourcing and in dispatching. The correct part duly arrived - free postage - and my microwave is functioning again. I see no problem with the company and place online a record of my satisfaction with their service.
Do not trust this company, 2 months waiting for a part, 1 email 3 weeks ago to say part was "in transit" where from the far side of the bloody galaxy? phone now cut off, will not respond to emails or faxs I say AGAIN!!!!! do not trust your hard earned money to these robbing bastards ARE YOU READING THIS DES COFFEY???????
Incompatible with my unit. Customer Services unhelpful and did not have the courtesy to reply to some emails. It claimed that as they had delivered item as ordered they would not refund the £5.65 return postage. It did refund cost of item promptly but as CS deserve 0* I have down rated. The company seems to have been trading for some years but became a Ltd company in March 2013.
I've always had good experiences by shopping at Spares2go . Competitive prices and quick delivery. They are always quick to respond back if I should have any questions. I will definitely use them again.
I bought an item from this company and they said the item was temporarily out of stock. I chased them after a few weeks and then again a few more weeks. They said the item was still out of stock but they were and still are selling this as in stock, When I asked them for a refund they stopped responding to my emails. So in short they robbed me of £50 Do not order from them. BEWARE!
ordered a part 6 weeks ago, again took my money but have not received anytihng and no answer to emails. I checked status again and found the part has now been declared obsolete so now I know I will never receive the part - still no reply or money back. I do not recommend this website
