These cabinets are well constructed. I purchased the Shaker White mid-level cabinets with 36" uppers. Having owned a custom cabinet company for many years, I found these cabinets easy to assemble and install. Some of the doors, (3) had scratches on the inside that were easily touched up. Two of the doors are bowed in the middle which causes the door to rub the frame when the door is opened or closed even after adjusting the hinges. This problem can be eliminated by adding a third hinge. Overall, I was impressed by the quality and durability of the cabinets. I will be remodeling my vacation home in the near future and plan on buying from RTA again.
RTA has the best customer service of any one that I do business with bar none! The cabinets I purchased were exceptional and on time. I won't go anywhere else for cabinets!

When I order cabinets and pay for them and then your company shuts down for 2 to 3 weeks and you didn’t ship my cabinet and I have to deal with an unhappy customer. In my book that’s not cool

Contractor RTA cabinets are good but not great. Customer service was great. Availability was spotty. I had to change the order. The order arrived on time. The connectors were of medium quality. It required many adjustments and drilling new holes. The main wood surfaces had minor damage during shipping. The insides of cabinets are low-quality veneer and peeled off easily. The end product looks good. Some improvements can be made at no cost to the manufacturers. I.e. correctly placed connectors. Other improvements should not cost a lot. These cabinets can be a best seller for DIY kitchen installers.

Very good cabinets for the price.
Overall good product for the price. The quality is where it is needed which allows for a nice look and durability without an excessive price. In my case, about half of the shipment showed up damaged which significantly delayed my project. New cabinets were shipped out but were not able to be expedited. I would definitely use them again!
Phil Wulliger was the best. It was wonderfully to be able to deal with the same person everytime we needed to do so. He gets 10 gold stars!

VERY pleased with RTA. Not only was my shipment timely and affordable, every person I spoke to/communicated with was extremely helpful and efficient. The quality is excellent (better than the “custom-made” cupboards we found when we moved in), and very good value for the cost. The assembly was easily accomplished by me (a woman with rudimentary carpentry skills), and installation was equally simple. I would definitely recommend (and have, in fact, done so already) RTA to anyone wishing to have good-looking, functional cabinetry at a reasonable cost.
Briefly - RTA Wood Cabinets was a good choice for my kitchen. Designing a kitchen can be complicated and precise. The service I received from RTAWC was extremely helpful in refining the design to sizes precise enough, and with enough detail to match the confines of the space they fit into. The 3D renderings and ability to change them, along with the architectural plans were critical to carrying out the installation. With the exception of some of the drawer fronts the cabinets I purchased were indeed all wood. The boxes are 1/2" plywood and the fronts are thicker. The quality of the lazy susan is better than I expected. overall the quality is very good and I am happy with the results. Assembly while not very difficult, is not 1/2 hour per cabinet like they suggested... it's more, but that's OK. We saved a lot of money buying ready-to assemble (RTA). I like the dovetail assembly. We could have purchased them pre assembled but that would increase the price quite a bit. One item was left out of the delivery (the toe kick boards). Once I verified this with them they promptly sent out a new one. After all their service was good, the price was good, and the quality is good. I have no problem recommending them.
Our experience was a first for us. Trusting so much investment into an online only format is definitely nerve-wracking and risky. Not having someone local to deal with can spell a number of issues. Especially when there's quality or practical issues that need addressing. Let me share that RTA handled things very well. There were issues with our order and they were handled quickly and kindly. We didn't have to fight or complain to get results they simply took care of it. We learned that your items in a freight delivery are never safe from harm, as is expected from any vendor trying to give you their best product. We cannot fault RTA for those things. They corrected it immediately for us and sometimes twice when needed. Bottom line. Buy with confidence. Plan, plan, plan your install and layout to the detail. Buy those fillers, trim, paint, and small items you may overlook and it will turn out great. When we needed extra parts they were there immediately to help us locate and receive them. I bought these cabinets for an apartment that we are remodeling complexly I was very impressed with the quality of material used. the finish looks very good. Assemble of the plain cabinets was a breeze, the dia. & lazy Susan was a little difficult . the drawings were confusing to me.. They are on the wall & Floor now & look like a top cabinet maker installed them, Tks john Melenchick

The cabinets are all made of quality materials. With as many cabinets I have ordered over the years only a few minor issues have come up and are addressed quickly. This process has been completely frustrating and irritating. Shipping is a disaster, multiple packages damaged. I have to open them all up to check for damage because replacement process takes several days and I don't have days to wait. I would not ever use this company again, poor material quality, poor shipping, poor craftsmanship. The wood that's used on these cabinets is complete junk.
