Kept crashing so I entered a support ticket, told the product does not support Mavericks, however there was no indication of such at sign up. Said they would notify me when it was supported. Regardless, even on one of our Windows machines, the service is painfully slow, crashes/disconnects all the time. Cancellation is a pain as well, it must go through a support ticket, you have to confirm, and they will bill you for an entire year if you are on an annual plan and go over by one day, with no proportions. I'd be suspect of any company with such billing practices. We have moved our company to another service provider that has faster more reliable service. I'd highly recommend to anyone that is thinking about cloud storage/archive/backup to "test drive" several services side-by-side for the 30 day free period that most services offer and do your own comparison. The result will be that you will avoid OpenDrive.

The Free Plan provides 5GB space which is much more than most free file hosting services. Free users can also enjoy hotlinking, sharing is easier than ever! Sorry for my bad English.

Finally I've got what I needed and much, much more. Easy and intuitive. Most important it has a HotLink mostly missing in other FTP services. And up to 5GB it's free.

I wanted a site that would not only store my files but also let me download my files anytime and fast too. So I researched and found lots of them, tried a few but OpenDrive stood out with it's easy of use excellent media file preview. A lot of reasons will make you fall in love with OpenDrive, like unlimited storage, unlimited file size, unlimited speed and the wonderful user management. For me, there're no Cons and I believe you'd be happy you chose them, just like I am now.

This service is great so far! I'm really enjoying the fact that they give you 5 free gigs of space which seems to be more than other sites. Now I just need hotlinking and I'll be good to go! I'm hoping that they continue this wonderful service and I can use it for a long time to come.

Simply the best backup and individual or group file sharing since Drop.io. As it allows for public uploading from individuals that know the link to a folder as well as e-mail notifications, it was easy to use and track activities. It has all the major traits of rival applications, Box, Dropbox, Mega and MediaFire in addition to the ability to sync with a desktop client. The only downside is that, unlike most of the services mentioned above, OpenDrive is quite slow (downloading and uploading) comparatively for non-premium members, which is a shame as Box has replaced my experience with group file sharing and collaboration. Not to mention, the limited space of OpenDrive for non-premium members is far below the capacities I have with the others. If OpenDrive has special storage promotions (in order to increase capacity) with mobile companies or phone apps along with a faster connection, I could see myself using OpenDrive once again as my go to collaboration file sharing service.

My initial upload was not even half complete after 3+ weeks of continuous uploading. On average one out of every 5 files was missing, and my upload was continuously restarting. Tech support response was that they were sorry for the inconvenience, but they never had this problem before, and it would take more time to troubleshoot. 10 days is not enough time to respond to my ticket? Their only advice was to keep restarting my upload. No comment about the missing files. When I asked for my money back, they kept 2 months fee because of my "usage of their system". Don't bother with open drive. Look more closely at the customer feedback. They have many upload problems, and the tech support is non-existent. Open Drive - no thanks!

PROS I have been testing OpenDrive and found it perfect for my backup. It is fast, a lot faster than the other big 3 companies. And I do mean a lot faster! The PC interface is clean, uncluttered and very easy to use. It is very "set and forget", that's what online backup should be. Bottom Line; It does the job faster than any other I have tried. CONS, No a big Con but half a star down for it. The Drive does show up in Explorer, but not as normal drive and not as network drive so you can not map it, That would be nice but not important,
