Since then, the business has increased to over 50 employees, operating from a 23,000 sq ft of warehouse space. Despite this growth, Ambient continues to uphold the family values to which the business was built and continues to operate through the same websites just as it did in 2002.

I have bought underfloor heating from Ambient twice, once for 3 in screed cable kits (30 sq m in total) and also for an undertile kit for my bathroom. The price was unbeatable, delivery was fast and the quality is excellent .On the second order I made a mistake and ordered the wrong size mat so I called Ambient, to ask about a replacement. The service was excellent. The phone was answered quickly, return and refund was offered immediately and the correct mat ordered within minutes for same day despatch. Highly recommended and I will buy again soon for my kitchen.

The items purchased from Ambient were fine the delivery process however left a lot to be desired. Got an email from the delivery company informing me that the delivery deadline was 1600 hours on the 08th. Waited in all day not a sign of the delivery.....finally received it on the 9th at 13.10. With the technology around these days with delivery companies you would have thought they would have had the professionalism to inform me that they could not deliver it on the day they had advised thus stopping me from wasting my valuable time. Will not be purchasing anything else from Ambient because of their poor delivery company.

The buying process was great, efficient and painless. I had a slight hiccup as they delivered the wrong thermostat but accidents happen, no big deal, and the replacement was despatched immediately and received next day. What took the edge off was I needed some post sales advice and rather than attempt to describe an irregular shaped room over the phone I thought it more efficient to email a floorplan to them to enable a more informed discussion. After a lack of response to my emails, head scratching and a lot of effort on their part to get to the bottom of the missing email trail, I am happy to report a resounding success. My problems solved and top marks to Ambient for going the extra mile. Thank you.
The underfloor heating I brought is really good quality and at a very reasonable price and got delivered the next working day.
Underfloor heating system had clear and helpful instructions for fitting - the reflective primer seemed to be worth buying and it certainly gave a good surface for fixing to. The matting also had clear instructions and was very easy to lay. The controller unit was easy to set up and the default settings were perfect straight from the box. Highly recommend the system.
