Everything was great except the website. I had to log in 3 times and when I logged in the third time "to make the experience faster" it made no difference and I still had to hand fill everything.

Attempted to contact them immediately after purchasing to correct one of the countries listed and now 5 days later and after numerous attempts it has been impossible to actually reach them. Cannot imagine how insanely frustrating it would be to actually work through a claim with them and you can actually get a sense if you search reddit. Their member website member section is completely broken and took my numerous attempts to even buy the policy and now it doesn't even show up despite me receiving the email for it

I have not used the insurance, but so far all the information and service has been very good. My niece recommended it to me. She told me that it was the best insurance and that is why I bought it.

I didn’t realize that I can’t speak to a human ! I needed to change my start date and ‘reading’ i need to cancel and repurchase - there is no speaking to a human to help me. I’m within my 10 days and UGH. Not feeling the love. Not sure I would recommend because I’m old fashion and really appreciate speaking to a human.

I purchased the most comprehensive insurance plan from World Nomads for my trip to Bali, where I attended a yoga teacher training. Unfortunately, I fell ill with a severe cold and high fever, confining me to bed for three days. During this time, I attempted to contact World Nomads multiple times but received no response. This lack of support was particularly distressing, given that I had opted for their premium coverage. It felt as though they took my money without providing the promised assistance. I am deeply disappointed with their service and would caution others against relying on World Nomads for travel insurance.

I had a life threatening accident while traveling abroad and my policy allowed me to return to the USA. Staff was extremely helpful during this difficult time. I have shared my story with so many people and now they will never travel without travel insurance. I am World Nomads poster child now! Thanks you.

UPDATE: Changed my review. The original response to my support query ended up in junk mail but didn't find it during a search. When I manually searched, I found the response (still in junk mail). The purchase experience was good. However, no one responds to support questions. Sent email inquiry through their online portal. No response. I called and the person told me to send an email. Sent an email but no response back. Frustrated with support. May not use them going forward.

Easy to get quotes and I used world Nomads many times for my travels , however I never had to use them for serious matters, so I can’t review their services, except I feel confident, they will be there for me if I need them.

While I have used World Nomads several times and the cover they provide is adequate for my needs and situation. I cannot understand that once you have purchased a policy to cant access it through the website when logged in. I would expect to be able to find all my current and passed policies on the website once I have logged in. Annoying!
