We have now purchased quite a few different tape sections of ICs from Win-source, mainly due to the ongoing component shortages. They are slightly pricier than the usual UK / US suppliers we use + customs fees etc, but the parts we have recieved have been good, and well packaged.
I almost didn't use this company because I had seen quite a few bad reviews on them. I decided to take a small test drive with them and ordered $500 worth of parts I needed and couldn't find anywhere else. Luckily, I didn't have a bad experience with them at all. It was a smooth transaction and had prompt delivery of goods. Their prices are a little high on some items (the reason for 4 stars) but if you really need a part that you can't get through normal distribution channels, and they have it, it's a no brainer.

UPDATE 2-18-22: After I posted my one-star review (below) Winsource reached out to me and explained that they source their parts through many different channels. The one listed on the web site is the cheapest. If we purchase the part at that price and it’s no longer available to them, then they go to their next source which may be more expensive. This is why they will increase the price or MOQ after we have purchased the part on their site. To help resolve this issue we now have an excellent contact at Winsource that we submit our RFQ’s to and she is able to check on stock and provide a more fixed price. However, there is still the constraint of time, if we wait to long before ordering and her vendor has already sold the part, she may have to go to her next source which may be more expensive. Working with her has been excellent and has alleviated most of our issues. The reason for not giving a higher review at this time is because of their website, it’s still not reliable, I would recommend submitting an RFQ rather than relying on their web site pricing. Additionally, they have failed to deliver parts and NOT notified us that they cancelled the order until after we follow up asking why the parts haven’t arrived yet…. This is unacceptable, they should immediately notify their customers if they aren’t able to fulfill an order. Original post below (it was a 1 star): I personally hate working with winsource but they seem to have the market cornered on a lot of parts and we find ourselves stuck in this predicament quite often. There website is just bait, the prices and MOQ’s change once they get an order. After we pay for parts they will email us a couple days later and say now it costs hundreds of dollars more, then we have to decide to pay the ransom or try and find it elsewhere. They are't easy to work with but their parts seem to be legitimate. After we pay the ransom the parts have always shown up and have always worked.
There are auctioned with low prices and after ordering the prices are always changed and you have to pay 3 times as much. Even after the order has already been paid online. The supplier does not adhere to his own terms and conditions.
