EDIT: Its been a week since my review on Trust Pilot and to no surprise at all, absolutely no communication from Waste Managed besides the blatantly inaccurate and cleverly out of context response to the review itself. I am a very small new business and am so disappointed with the service I have received from this company. In the last 2 months, I have sent 12 e-mails and still nothing is being done regarding my account. Below is the content of the first e-mail I sent. I have received 3 sms's stating a debt recovery agent will be visiting me shortly and I quote one sms "Mate please pay your account by the 6th, thanks Mate". Good day, I can only pray this e-mail reaches someone who is willing to help me. I am the sole proprietor of EyeCandi Tattoos, 2A Glennons Yard, Billing Garden Village, NN3 9EX and arrived in the UK in August 2023 to join my family who is originally from Scotland. I have spent the last year of my life working 7 days a week as a single parent to get my business off the ground trading basically my soul to get it where it is today. As a tattoo artist (20 years in my industry), the only other component to my business that is as important as my clients, are my suppliers, namely my waste disposal. Unfortunately, my relationship and experience with Waste Managed has been anything but fruitful, supportive and I've come to the point where it seems my account has become almost invisible. In April, I expanded to a shop front, a huge achievement, and the first thing I did was request that my services be adjusted from 3 month collections to once monthly. My first request was ignored. After 2 months of no collections, I once again requested a monthly collection. Again I was ignored. In 8 months I have had 1 collection at my new premises which forced me to purchase my own sharps bins as well as using another waste management company incurring my very small company double costs in waste management. Two months ago I mailed my dispute and went up and down with absolutely no outcome. Last month I cancelled my debit order as no longer being serviced or even responded to. Today I received an SMS stating my account was being handed over. I have not ignored my account with Waste Managed. Waste Managed has ignored me as a client. It goes against consumer ethics to hand over or even threaten to hand over an ongoing dispute. I am more than happy with paying an early termination fee to cancel my account, but Waste Managed will need to accept responsibility for my extra costs incurred as well as the termination fee that will again be charged to my account from the current waste management company that is actively collecting my sharps bins. I hope that we can come to a mutual agreement on both the termination of my account and the fees incurred by the lack of service I have received over the last 8 months of trading. Kind regards, Candi Lewis 07384 120896 EyeCandi Tattoos I have received 2 responses from these e-mails, the first response in summary was basically they have no record of communication from me and I need to pay my account or an early termination fee (no investigation whatsoever of my query), and the second was that my request for documentation has been sent to the relevant department. I'm still waiting for the documentation. It is absolutely impossible to resolve this matter with their lack of communication, response or concern for me as a client. I no longer wish to deal with them and feel their breach of contract, lack of service, breach of the Consumer Act (threatening to hand my account over while the account is under query) and the time and money it has cost me to use another waste management company, the time it has cost me to continually e-mail them and beg for resolve, the early termination fee needs to be wavered and my account closed for good. Been a customer for a long time, generally ok, but if the wagon driver is different, or there is traffic you get no collection and a access blocked message, then the next collection the bin gets emptied you then get an over weight message due to it not being collected previously, we then agree to have weekly collections rather than fortnightly, this doesn't go to plan and still missed collections, I cancel the direct debit and inform them what happening, hoping it would get sorted and resolved, nothing, All I do get is a late payment charge, please what am I paying for, you don't collect and you charge me extra! HELP

Woeful service - repeated failures to deliver a simple contract, then a refusal to accept they had breached the contract due to their inability to deliver it properly. As bad as their new owners, Biffa Group. Avoid!!
Taken payments consistently yet also failed to collect waste consistently for 10 weeks and now have left us stranded with upset locals and residents because waste is accumulating and they don’t wish to assist in collecting the waste that we have already paid for. Called several times and spoken to several team members but still don’t seem to be getting through to them. Don’t recommend, as they’ll scam you into taking money and not provide a service you’re covered by. Update: Been waiting all day after waiting 10-11 weeks for a call so doesn’t seem like anything will be done.
Very good company to talk to, generally try to keep my invoice lower by suggesting different ways to bin our waste. Representative Dean very responsive to our needs. Would highly recommend to any business looking for waste management.
