We got a very detailed assessment with options to choose from once we had a visit. The downside was that it took months from my first enquiry until contact Was made and in the meantime we had spent over £3000 on new radiators which we could have saved, especially as these were scrapped during the new installation.

Your inspector was very friendly and made the experience of testing the equipment very relaxing. I had a terrible fall when i was outside the day before and i felt anxious but Joe made me feel very comfortable when he came into my home - he felt like an old friend and was easy to talk to. I think he should be given a raise or a bonus !! Well done Joe

Took a while to sort out all the paperwork but once work started it was very efficient. Our house is very old but the combination of internal insulation, solar and air source heat pump is working very well

Thank you Warmworks for organising the work recently completed in my wee 1890 tenement Edinburgh flat. The flat already feels warmer even without the heating being on. The communication from start to finish was excellent. Secondary glazing and a new front door have made such a difference to an otherwise cold ground floor flat. The standard of work was good from the associated company installing the window and door. I totally recommend this company if you fit the criteria relating to the Scottish Government warmer homes funded scheme.

Heating system was installed in a day, everything works great with no problems, installer’s covered carpets and put down dust sheets, any other mess was tidied up after the job was finished.

This is truly an amazing experience I’ve never experienced so many tradesmen carry out their duties with such professionalism right from the beginning which started with a survey of the work to be carried out through to the end again a further survey of all works every one of the tradesmen discussed and explained a step by step of the work they would be carrying out I can not express the high standards with which all works were carried out if I was to select a team which lead the works without demoralising anyone it would have to be the heating engineers they certainly were a pleasure to have around ( I can’t remember their names) All I can tell is they came from Kirkcaldy 😂 they were the most professional although it’s very hard to differentiate from all other team members I’m also afraid to say 5 stars by no means describes this company even in responses to snagging the girls at the end of the phone also deal with you in a very professional manner so to reiterate 5 stars in no way describes this company and its employees and sub contractors it time to increase this company could certainly go as high as ten stars which would be very hard for anyone to follow with this level of service I can only hope for 2 things this gets passed on to all staff who took part in the work carried out on my behalf and trust pilot have a serious look at the standards they have created and raise the bar Wormworks certainly have I also wish them every success with the standards they have created.

Through Warnworks I got a full new heating system with new boiler and radiators, cavity wall insulation and fire and carbon monoxide alarms. Everything was done to a high standard and all works were inspected on numerous occasions, to make sure everything was done to a high standard. Very happy with everything.

For the first time in 61 years of marriage, my husband and I have central heating! What a blessing! In the main, I found the various companies used by Warmworks professional, friendly and competent. Although it was a major upheaval to our lives and the whole operation took several months to complete, each individual service was mostly done timeously and with as little disruption as was possible given that the whole house had to have all the piping and insulation installed. One workman asked if we were leaving during the major upheaval and I wish we had arranged to be somewhere else for a few days. The inspector was very pleased with the work that had been carried out, with the exception of the insulation on the flat roof of the kitchen. Not only did he have to return once, but three times before it was completed to his satisfaction. Although the installation was free (we could never have afforded to pay for it ourselves) we did incur some expense. The major outlay was the floored attic. When it was checked before the work began, we were told that the workmen could work round the fact that the attic was already floored. It came as a huge surprise when we checked after the workmen had gone to find that the insulation material had just been laid on top of the flooring and the attic could no longer be used for storage. It cost us over £1000 to floor the attic on top of the insulation. We also didn’t appreciate that our open fire would need to be capped to prevent heat escaping up the chimney. Another expense. Perhaps these things were explained to us before work commenced, but there was so much information at that time that we may not have absorbed it all. A word of praise, too, for the telephone contacts. Each time I called Warmworks with a query or needing an explanation, the people at the end of the phone line were helpful and acted on the situation/question immediately and knowledgeably, putting me in touch with the appropriate department or company. I was never made to feel I was being a nuisance or helpless. Thanks. Overall, the experience was rather draining and lengthy from the time I initiated an enquiry about the scheme in February until completion in November when the final inspection took place. This may be due to the fact that my husband and I are in our 80’s and set in our ways, but taking everything into consideration, it has been very worthwhile. We have benefitted from having a cosy home in our old age and our home (over 150 years old) has been improved dramatically. We will now be interested to see what effect it has on our electric bill. For us the scheme has been a god-send. The fact that it has cost us nothing was the main attraction for considering undertaking the project. At our age we could not have undertaken such considerable outlay had the government not offered it free of charge. And the ‘green’ element of the air heat exchange system makes it all the more attractive. Thank you to all concerned.

All very quick turn around which was great only loosing 1 star as there was some decor damage, brown water stains from old radiators on carpets and rubbish left. Was discussed and sorted and happy to rectify bits myself but really shouldn't of happened

All those involved with the work carried out in my home have been kind, helpful and efficient. This includes those working in the office, those assessing the work to be done, the technicians carrying out the installation and the inspector of the completed work.

As a homeowner I would have liked to have seen the radiators before install, I would NOT have installed these in my home, they look cheap, bulky and unfinished, they have bare elements. My 25 year old radiators were more aesthetically pleasing. There was NO smart meter, yet it was on the original recommendation. There is a very ugly, hideous pipe now outside my house, lagging is grey and shoddy. I am absolutely ashamed that this is now on the outside of my new reharled walls. The pipe runs almost the full length of the house, a complete eyesore. I am now going to have to find a plumber that can reroute this pipe, which I will have to fund. I am also in the process of buying radiator covers as cannot abide looking at the poorly constructed radiators. If you have wooden floors, beware, you are responsible for uplift and refit. Cost me £350 for 3 hours of the joiners time, another ripoff. The only positive is the new boiler is quieter and should be more efficient. Customers should be given some say in what is being installed and offered a choice. The Ideal Boiler does get good reviews and is highly rated on Which.
