Good overall but staff do need to be more careful with personal data In response to your reply, yes you have consent to share info with your client but accidentally including the 50 other people in the survey in an email is not sharing info with your clients. That is considered a breach of GDPR. As for someone trying to contact me, I sent an email, I have one missed call from a mobile number that left no message and have had no response to my last email.

I had participated in projects recruited for by Vocal Views in the past, successfully. However, in the past month I have had two incidents with this company, that show how unprofessional it is. In the first instance, I was called the day before the research, in the afternoon, and asked to take part in a one hour group the next day. I agreed and then received a confirmation email stating the group will last 90 minutes. Later I received an invitation sent to all members that stated the research will last 110 minutes. I was only able to confirm the group length less than an hour before the group, and it was indeed 110 minutes, so I couldn't participate. I did not pursue this an wrote it off. However, about a week ago I was recruited for another group, for Saturday. I was called and told I was chosen to participate, and so I changed my plans accordingly. I hadn't received a confirmation e-mail by Friday evening so I rang twice and both times was reassured that I would receive my confirmation e-mail that night. I never received it and was unable to receive the research, losing at least 50GBP (potentially more, as there was a follow up group). I called the company and a manager called me back, saying I was never officially confirmed to take part in the research, as I hadn't received a confirmation e-mail, so I was not due compensation. Considering up until the night before I was told I would be participating and never even received a cancellation, I think this is unacceptable behaviour. I told the manager this, and that if I were not compensated I would make a formal complaint, and he hung up on me as he claimed I was not letting him finish his sentences. Truly what he was doing was mansplaining their policy and not planning to compensate me in any way.

It was simple enough to sign up. I was given everything I needed prior to my first research session, and the payment process at the end is simple.

Just dropped one star as the communication pre and post session could have been clearer and there was a known issue with emails going to spam folders. A follow up call to participants RE this would have solved the problem.

The overall experience was not bad but the staff was rude and the time said of 1.5 hours was actually 2. the focus group started almost 30 minutes later and i had to chase my payment, which i hate to do. the group itself was nice and i was impressed to even considering buying a Haweii phone.

Good research company! This is my first time taking part in research with vocal views. Overall it was a good experience. Their customer service is good, the people who I spoke to were friendly, polite and understanding. The research task was very well organised. From my experience my only comment would be better organisation for preparation before the task, as I was not sent a pre-task before taking part and was then told I had to complete it after.
